Dominate most of our games???? Apart from the S. Mirren game we haven´t dominated a single game since the Benfica game!! We have won, yes, we have increased our lead in the SPL, yes, but dominated these games, I´m sorry to say but : No.

I believe Boruc does have a £6m release clause in his contract, and if he does, he will not be at Celtic Park next year.

The bottom placed club in the EPL next will get almost 15 times as much TV revenue as Celtic will as winers of the SPL this year, so even a mediocre EPL club spending £6m would represent the financial equivalent of us spending a few hundred thousand on Brown.

If that clause exists, it's a no brainer, he'll be sold for £6 or £7m, depending on how much attention he brings upon himself from now until the end of the season.

He will have to do a Larsson to commit himself to staying.

If its true Boruc does have a £6m release clause in his contract, then all we can do is hope the big boys stay away but I think he must be thinking of furthering his CL prospects with the likes of Barca,Man utd, Inter, etc

IMO its a matter of time before he moves on just have to hope Peter Lawell gets the right price which would be £9M+

 

Doesn't bear thinking about losing the best keeper we've had in my lifetime (26yrs). Just don't remember as much class between the Celtic sticks ever. Don't know about him being single-handedly responsible for ALL our successes the last yer nd a half or so but he's certainly played no small part. If the bigger Euro guns are gonna pinch him I just hope we get the right amount of dollar for him. Anywhere upwards of about £7m I would grudgingly except.

Telfinho - C Palace
Lenny - Somewhere
Balde - Aston Celtic
McGeady - up his own *! Think he will turn down the new deal, and head down to spurs or somewhere in the summer.
Magic - Not sure, but him or Kenny is going, and i can see it being Zurawski.
Beattie - SPL Team or Norwich.

I think its phase 3 of the Strachan era, and its bye bye to the above and welcome in some great signings.

 

1. I think he'll move to Spain in 2 or 3 seasons time.
2. I think he'll retire at Celtic.
3. Balde'll be here for some time I reckon.

5. I can't see Beattie going to an SPL team, but he could leave to a team like Birmingham, Norwich etc.

 

Boruc as been said has been the best keeper ive seen at cp in the 25 years ive been going..just imagine if he had been in the seville team!!!
but watch this space for arsenal or man utd coming in for him.

opinion 1: we need to get more quality players in like JVoH & Graveson.
opinion 2: its okay if boruc goes as long as we get £?million for him

well heres the facts... unless we have good players no other good players will come to us. and if we get £5mill+ for boruc we arent gonnae get another £5mil player it will be a few £500k and £1mill signings, so why should we sell if we arent getting another player of the equivelent value.

we say we want to be a bigger force in europe, then why dont we start acting like it instead of wanting to flog our best players for money we wont even see.

If Boruc has a £6M release clause then that's all we'll get unless there are a few teams intrested in him.
Man U dont need him, Van der Saar has a further year left, they also have Forster returning from his loan at Watford at the end of the season as well as having the polish keeper, although I can see Tim Howard being sold this summer.
Most of the big teams have decent cover for keepers, I think arsenal is his most likely destination as I feel Lehman will go in the summer.
I will be gutted if he goes, but Celtic have won plenty of trophies with poorer keepers before Boruc, life goes on, who knows, either Marshall or Brown might mature into great keepers by the time they are Boruc's age.
