dont get me wrong use hav some very good players, i mean shay given is possibly the best and most consistent golkeeper in the prem league but he is constantly let down by bad defendin....duff and emre both good ball players

BUT

Titus Bramble is the worst footballer and defender i have ever saw in my life and how he is on any prem team beats me!!!!i agree that with others here that owen is finished, with regard to the player he once was, with so many bad injuries including the hamstrings he will never hav the speed that once struck fear through a defenders heart!!!!

 

I don't rate Shay Given at all
Artur Boruc is light years ahead of him..
And yep...Roeder should be sacked now...

 

A bit over the top there. You say the Newcastle defence lets Given down. The celtic defence lets Boruc down but he answers by producing world class saves and wins points! Boruc is so much better, and has the potential to be one of the top keepers in the world.

 

Do you ever see Newcastle games? Given does EXACTLY the same thing EVERY time he plays, well he doesnt get points everytime obviously, not to mention Newcastle are in the English Prem and have far far better teams attacking them than the type of competition yous get in the Scottish Prem

i used 2 like newcastle under kk but u have lost that attacking exciting style over the years throwing money down the drain..pound for pound in ALL WORLD FOOTBALL newcastle united must be the most overrated "big club" period..
btw how much have u spent since promotion 2 the premiership and how many trophies

And btw if your a keeper it doesn't matter what league your in Boruc is class for us in CL too. I remember a few amazing saves myself such as sahas penalty. so don't start your better league stuff again. It doesn't matter what so ever what league u play in if u are a good keeper u will stand out.

 

who's ?Doumbe, cant remember him playing for celtic, so how can you rate him in the team?

 

exactly how can u rate doumbe if he aint even in the team ...give him a game first i think u will find he's probably pish lol

 

Even at the world cup Boruc was keeping Poland in the match against Germany. He has such a presence that it puts strikers off. Given is good, dont get me wrong, but Boruc's saves this season have been out of this world.

 

Ramage is possibly the worst player i have ever seen. The rest of ur defence is young and against West Ham at the weekend you's had 3 right backs in ur back four and then played a right mid at right back

Martins and Owen couldnt play together far to similiar. As for Amoebi dont even start!

I rate a couple of your midfileders to be truthful such as Milner, Parker, N'Zogbia, Duff but whether they would get a game for us is questionable (altho Parker defo would).

Given and Boruc is a matter of opinion so il stick with Boruc since he is a celt.

All in all we r better, you's waste money (eg Boumsong lol) and ud be better comparing yourselfs to other mid table EPL teams such as Everton and Boro

 

seen him play plenty bud ...hes athletic good technique and could easily get a game for newcastle for one.. hes no mo camara anyway

 

im irish too decky but i feel boruc would shade it over given, hes a top top goalkeeper and i also think boruc will sadly be going to arsenal, he is the best keeper in britain at the moment. imo hes certainly flattered are average celtic defence.
