    I have it on good authority we are going to confirm Fraser Forster on a 1 year loan deal with an option to sign, I therefore reckon Craig Gordon will not be joining us.

    If Forster is coming then I hope it's just a loan deal and we are planning to get Craig Gordon on a pre-contract in January.

    mediocre 'with potential'. Bottom line is Rangers will continue to have a much better goalie than us next season if we sign Forster and not Gordon.

    Mediocre is a bit harsh gunt. But I agree with you that if we want to have a better goalkeeper than Rangers, Craig Gordon is the man we should be going for.

    Yes but a goalie is not the be all and end all of the team. The huns also had a better keeper than us last year and we had a better defensive record, we're also doing better than them this year when they've got a better keeper than us. Besides, there's a decent chance McGregor will leave, there's been talk of clubs in England looking at him, I reckon the huns will have to listen to offers. Forster's better than Alexander.

    I would have had him at Celtic no problem a few years ago when he was at Hearts. I rarely see him play anymore cause he's normally injured. If we were intrested in Gordon a few years ago i would take him in a heartbeat. Now i'm not so sure, il'd rather have Forster. No doubting he is a great goalie though.

    I think you all are * high or something, why would we sign a goalkeeper that hasnt played football in over a year & prone to injuries. FF is a young keeper who is getting better every game he plays, I think he will be our no.1 for a long time to come

    No need for keeper, Forster only 23, and experience is everything with keepers usually getting better with age. Keep Forster and let him grow with the rest of this young team we have.
