Punters can be sarcastic if they want, all I'm saying this is information I was given yesterday. Another thing, I aint one of these "supporters" who waits to see who we sign before I renew my season ticket, mine is safely in my wallet TopDhog, is yours ?

I wasn't having a dig at you.. I just feel every year there are a few big names thrown in to the hat to try and shift season tickets, i'm pretty confident i'm not the only person to notice this?
And as for a season ticket, no I don't have one, mainly because I live in Reading and can't afford it but trust me, if it was in any way possible for me to get to every game I would. When i'm making millions i'll have my pent house next to Celtic Park with a heli pad on top so I can fly in for every game :) And I might throw in a couple of million to sign a quality player or two.

He should be hitting his peak at this age. It's a gamble with his injuries. It's the same old story we never have a decent goalie. Boruc was only one, even he liked a mistake now n again. A quite like the cudicini speculation. Only speculation though.

Magoo, you gonnae spill the beans on your source?

hope you're right in both transfers. i can only see one striker coming in so if Roque Cruz comes in, i highly doubt Bellamy will follow suit.

Haha yeah, it'll probably turn out to be a drug den in Barrowfield but either way i'll be within walking distance of Park Head :icon_mrgreen:

Why would they buy him for 9m then let us get him a few years later for no more than a couple of million cos thats all we can afford. And if they do pay more for him then Shay Given should have been at Parkhead instead

don't think much of Craig Gordon, as a keeper to be honest seen him pick the ball out the net most games he played in agenst us, and others, don't want parkhead to be turned into the new "Belvidere Hospital", for cripples, as they only got rid of it a few years ago.

Naw Hammy I genuinely can't say mate. But I'm thinking is the same as yours. If we get Santa Cruz, we wont get Bellamy, and vice versa. Going back to my source Hammy, there was no great emphasis on mentioning Bellamy's name, the emphasis was definately on Gordon, and Santa Cruz. For all I know, we could end up with none of them, just keeping you all abreast of what I'd heard. Would adore these two signings, playing in the Hoops. :celt_2:

I'm honestly not sure what to think about potentially signing Gordon. There's no doubting his ability- for me he made the save of the season last year, think it was against Bolton. However, the amount he gets injured is a concern. Do we really want a keeper pulling in big wages to sit on the treatment table all the time? Plus Zaluska's ability and confidence would suffer from being used on and off when Gordon gets injured. As a goalkeeper you need to have a bit of consistency to your play.
If he could put his injury problems behind him, he really would be a terrific piece of business. I think that if he hadn't had so many injury problems, he would currently be Scotland no. 1 and at a big premiership club (I'm quite sure he would have been on the radar of Spurs, Man U and Arsenal in their keeper hunts).

Of all the players we have been linked with since the end of last season, Craig Gordon is the one I have wanted us to get the most. I would be really chuffed if we could get him on loan and then get him on a pre-contract in January.

All the waiting would be worth it if we could pull this deal off.
