JVOH and Beattie are our best front two now..
I would love to see BBJ back with us...* Bless Him
At least he knows the way to goal...

Stokes is the most natural finisher I've seen play in Scotland since Henrik. It's a real * we didn't get him.

WGS kept saying that he didnt see him as a striker until a week or so ago when he changed his tune and said he was open minded about deeks position. I think WGS is finding it hard to ignore the pressure coming from his talkceltic advisors:50: .

Derek Riordan should be considered for the striking role alongside JVOH. I'd like to see Beattie get a run in the side though after his sub performance on Sun, he could compliment the big dutchman well. But with lack of goals from Miller and the lack of well, anything from 'Magic' Z, Riordans scoring record in the SPL should be enough for WGS to at least give it some thought. Play him up front with JVOH and I promise he will score nuff goals.

Keltoi, or should I call you Kenny? I am sick of you defending the indefensible. Kenny Miller is a striker who doesn't score, end of story. That puts him in the same category as.....

    A chocolate fireguard

    and

    An ashtray on a motorbike

In other words, * useless. If you are a striker your job is to score goals, if you do not score goals then you are a * striker. Kenny Miller should only be used as a sub late in games when we want to chase down everything and run the legs off tired defenders.

We have to leave the job of actually winning football matches to other players.

i agree miller isnt good enough but neither is zurawski. checked the stats; zurawski 31 appearances 10 goals, miller 30 appearances 7 goals. bear in mind that 2 of zurawski's came against a third division side. neither of these players are good enough to be celtic strikers.

im a big magic fan:50: ..i think he is quality and i honestly believe the arrival of kenny "chase the chickens" miller has cost us one last season of seeing magic deliver the goods..
even when he didnt score when he first came it waz obvious he had something about him and imo he seems the type who needs 2 be top man and WGS faith in miller has had a terrible effect on his game
it now seems every game if magic dosent score its like "DROP HIM HES PISH" etc. and dosent give him any chance 2 build up some proper confidence.
all goalscorers live on confidence and the constant changing helps no-one..sometimes a big squad can actually damage the flow of a side..
saying all that id be extremely suprised if magic is at CP next season...the next few months are his last chance 2 hit top form in the hoops considering his age etc.
people go about him not scoring in big games:97: waz he not top scorer for poland in englands group WC2006 quailifing group..i rest my case:84:

Totaly agree, I have been watching Majec over the past few games and seems to be getting worse not better:38: He has noe presence in front of goal anymore.

For * sake give Beattie his chance, OK he has to sharpen up a bit in front of goal but that will come with games, partnered with jvoh i think they cause any defence problems :celt_2:

AMEN!! I think after what Beattie produced after coming on on Sunday, Zurawski should be bumped back down to the bench (if he's lucky). Even better, maybe we could even strike up a wee deal with some poor club to take him off our hands?

After the way he played last weekend I would put Beattie into the staring lineup alongside VOH against St Mirren next weekend.

I'd wrap JVOH up in cotton wool for that game. We can win it without him and we cant afford him to pick up any more injuries.

aye zurawski was minging on sunday, when he tried to cut back to jaN and caught it with his either foot was so embarrasing, something youd see in a pub league.

Totaly agree, If i remember correctly it wasn't that long ago we were screaming for Beattie in the Scotland squad, nothing has changed, I think he could be a real class act if he is given the chance :shamrock:
