Earliest memory was watching us lose the 1984 cup final with my dad, lost 2-1 to Aberdeen in extra time.

Was only 5, so didn't really understand what was going on and why my dad was going so mental, always recall him going nuts when we equalised near the end though, pretty sure it was Paul McStay.

Too hard to say really, but tbh I think it was when I started primary school when I was 4/5yrs old(Melrose primary Cumbernauld)

Back then I dindt give a hoot aboot fitba, but I distinctly remember talking to pals about which team we supported and I said partck thistle because I think it was the only one id ever heard of. but other boys were talking about celtic so that must be the first time I heard of the good name of celtic! Ive supported them ever since!:84:

    hail hail!

edit: I was a rangers fan in another life

The first match I went to with my dad. I spent most of the match staring at all the Celtic fans behind me. It was the old CP and everyone was standing. After that I used to ask my dad to get seat tickets in the main stand. To think that everyone wants standing areas now.

2002/03 season, we beat Livingston at Celtic Park 2-1. I remember looking forward to watching Larsson play, as I heard he was such a legendary player for us, anyway he got injured about 15 mins into the game, broke his jaw or something, was absolutely gutted. I remember going 1-0 down, and we came back to win 2-1 in the second half, think Sutton and Sylla scored? I was about 9 at the time, was the first time I ever watched Celtic.

My first memory is my Da & big brother coming back from the 5-0 against St Mirren when we won the league in 85.. i was only 5 & remember playing wi my cars on the floor & them coming in buzzing at what they saw.. then i kept asking them to take me & they eventually did the next season around December 86 1-1 vs Aberdeen (think McInally scored for us & Joe Miller for them).. cant say i was instantly hooked it was freezing * down & could hardly see from underneath the fence at the front of the jungle lol.. but by the Centenary Season i could sense the magic around our club & i was hooked for life .:50:

But on another note my first memories of Celtic was also those green & white striped sweets (pacers i think) that everyone used to call "Celtic sweeties" lol & my ma used to tell me to wait for "wee Jimmy Johnstone" to flash at the traffic lights instead of the green man lol
