It's quite simple Lenny has to win the League or he's out of a job, i don't care if we win the other 2 cups and even have a wee run in Europe, in Glasgow finishing first is the minimum requirement, second is nowhere.

I dont think so tbh, if we are quality again next season and dont win the League then I wont go back if Lennon is sacked.

If we sack a manager whos been good then were do we go from there?

We'll end up going down the Real Madrid route "We were quality but never won enough - sacked" year later "We won plenty but we were * - sacked" :56:

For me playing with style is a must otherwise I dont want to go to the games and dont enjoy it and theres only so much of that you can take. I can take losing in style and winning poorly but would value playing well over anything else, that always comes first for me just enjoying the football.

Because it was *, it was 2 full years of brain numbing pish that nothing was going to make up for to be honest we could have beat the huns 4-0 twice in a row in those two games and id still class it as * as we were just terrible to watch its was boring beyond the limit that I could take. We won 8 games in a row at the end of the season but even those games were just run of the mill wins we still werent playing anywhere near acceptable enough.

I understand what you mean mate but theres no real boasting in playing fancy football and winning * all.Its titles that count. It would be great if we good play great football and win the league but TBH i couldnt give a * how we win it next year as long as we do.If it means playing ugly then so be it i couldnt sit through another summer of having my face rubbed in it by these *

I don't think it would matter what we think, Lennon will walk if he doesn't win the league.....

I think you'll find a large number of supporters do not subscribe to this point of view, in an ideal world we would play free-flowing and fast attractive football, i know football is an entertainment and a spectator sport but in this neck of the woods it is imperative that you finish ahead of your nearest and biggest rival.

You just need to enjoy the football for what it is, everyone is different but to me if I dont like what im seeing I wont go wether we're winning or not. I only go because I like what im going to see and getting a wee laugh and a bit of singing.

You think too much about other people :50: just enjoy yourself

You shouldnt just want to win the League to boast about it to huns and be happy to be annoyed and bored of football all year just to say to the huns haha we won the League, thats just miserable.

I dont even get how a hun can rub it in your face anyway theyre average at best. Just tell them how it is, we've got a good team with quality players and theyre going/went to watch boring pish every week :50:

I see where your coming from, every season isnt going to be ideal but it is possible to play with style every/most seasons and your already half way there and if your playing boringly then you can only get half way there.

It will come down to what people prefer 50% of being good to watch a full season but not winning the League or 50% from winning the League but being boring all season. Id like to think most Celtic fans would rather enjoy a whole season than just the winning at the end.

I agree people put too much emphasis on winning the league but if the atmosphere is * and the football is * then what's the point. I want to go to games for good football and an amazing atmosphere not to watch us winning * in a silent ground.

I don't get that, I have never enjoyed a game where Celtic lost except maybe the 3-2 Champions League game against Barca.

Winning isn't everything, the unity felt last season proves that but in the end Celtic are a winning club and I would take trophies and success over pretty football every day of the week.

Meanly, what if Celtic won the CL playing the most dull boring anti-football? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be complaining.

:50: To be honest I dont see how anyone can think the opposite.

To me that would be them being more interested in the huns losing than their own enjoyment.

That's undoubtedly true Prof but when you're talking about Celtic I think it's important not to undersell the value of winning with a bit of style thrown in. Playing attractive football has long been a tradition at Celtic and it's one of the main reasons I started supporting the club.

If we win the league playing ugly football then I'll still celebrate like * on the day we get presented with the trophy but the season as a whole will never be enjoyable to me.

If we lose, but lose playing the game the right way, then I can live with that and still feel tremendous pride in the team. The way we won under Gordon Strachan just got me down.

The Celtic support expect the team to play a certain way it is a tradition, that's why so many people had been * off before Lenny became manager.

I think we should cross that bridge IF we come to it. New season hasn't even started yet and we've already got people wondering what'll happen if the huns win the league again?

Thats fantasy though it will never happen.

Whats the reason that you would take being * and winning over playing good football and enjoying yourself though?

To me the only thing your getting out of it then is the huns losing. Because I dont get how you can enjoy us winning if you've not enjoyed how it was won, the only differance is that the huns havent won. Which would then mean your more interested in the huns not winning than anything else.

If we don't win the league Lenny will be doomed. I actually thought if we had lost the Scottish Cup last year he was a goner. He has a lot to prove this year if he wants to stay in the job.
