To any other teams on here, he's injury prone, always injured so'n he is.

In the Daily Record this morning about some guy recommending him to move to England but it's unlikely now as he's tore his hamstring and will miss most of pre-season.

    It's true.

Had to pull out the Honduran squad and it looks as if he'll miss pre-season

He's got a hamstring tear and has been told to rest for at least a month.

Edit: Beat me to it Ciaran.

Well even if hes out for a 4-6 weeks he'd still be back in time for season starting.

Anyone else think this might be a white lie told to stop the interest from other clubs?

Love a conspiracy theory me :86:

How come it's always our best players that get injured? He'll just need to do a mini pre-season when he's past the injury, he'll still be ready for the start of the season (touch hairy wood).

On the plus side i doubt anyone will buy him if he's unable to do a medical....GIRFUY muthafuckas!!!

I'd just like to echo this sentiment. He also has a terrible disciplinary record and was just recently remanded in custody for having * with his wife in Hugh Dallas' back garden.

You really don't want him at your club. Thanks, bye.

I heard that he had been ruled out of a Honduran game and feared it might be something like this. If it's true, I hope he recovers quickly, as a good pre-season is always important for a player.

Not great news at all, would have been good for him to gain an understand with K.Wilson and any others defenders we might bring in very soon. Hopefully he recovers faster than expected.

According to VideoCelts he will miss the Gold cup for Honduras and possibly the Australian tour but should be fit for the Dublin Cup and start of the SPL campaign

This could be a blessing in disguise, him not going to the pointless gold cup and starting the season worn out.

We need better cover than Mulgrew at LB.

    I agree with this actually.

I like Mulgrew, he's a versatile player and can fit in at CB and in midfield but he's just not good enough at left-back. It's strange because it's the position he's known best for.
