Sure, it took Stan the Man, more than a year to bed in at Parkhead. I remember, the Press saying we had spent £2m on a lump of wood. But, by-the- way, it was hard to disagree with what they were saying, because Stan was playing pure mince. I think it was John Barnes, who signed him, but then again, Barnes was playing him at right-back, when he was brought in as an attacking midfielder. But look at his second season, under the guidance of players like Lambert, Craig Burley, Thomo, Lennon, the guy was the heartbeat of many a Celtic victory. Here's hoping Juarez follows on the same path, as Stan did. From what I saw from Juarez, at the start of last season, convinced me, that this guy has got talent. You never lose your talent, you just lose your concentration, and your confidance, well I'm confident this wee guy, will turn out to be a total gem for us. :50:

Good post - we should all be behind any player who is in the squad. However I do fear lennon has no place for him in his plans and that he will move on or waste away in the background

Carlos Diogo won't renew with Zaragoza so that's why they're going to try to sign Juarez again.

Sort of mixed feelings, I want him to stay at Celtic and prove what's is he made of... but also a loan or move to Zaragoza would be great, better quality opposition and he would have certainly an asured spot under Javier Aguirre, and he knows he needs to play for keep being on De La Torre's radar.

I don't think he's got the gumption for the SPL, his heart doesn't seem to be in it.

Sounds like pish, I don't think he wants to work hard to get in the Celtic team.

I think he wants the move to La Liga or EPL.

    Just the impression I get.

It seems his loan is already a done deal.

Iain Jamieson have said that: "I can confirm that Juaréz will go on loan to Zaragoza"

    Source in Spanish.

And in twitter I've read Agapito Iglesias (Real Zaragoza's president) have said Efra will arrive tomorrow to the Aragonese city.

Good he won't be needed this season but I think he has got something. If Kayal or Ki leave next year (sorry for the negativity) he will be a good option to bring back, if they don't I'm sure this loan deal will increase any transfer fee we'd get for Juarez, win win situation really!

Suppose a loan deal isn't the worst thing in the world. His values will more than likely go up playing in the La Liga and if he impresses he could get a proper shot next season if Kayal or Ki go to the Prem.

Edit: Or what Binnie Bhoy said a whole 7 minutes earlier. :icon_mrgreen:

A loan deal with a small fee would be win win. Puts him on the shop window and gets wages off the bill.
