    Freddie is gone (thank *)
Juarez isnt geting games and may go.
Brooney plays on the right more now.
That leaves Ki, Kayal and Ledley.
If Lenny thinks the kid is good then I trust him.

Can't be too bad if he made his international debut at 15. And he's been a regular in the Belgian League for 3 years. All this and he's only 19.

That said, not sure how many midfielders we need. If Juarez goes, we still have Brown, Kayal, Ledley and Ki who are all well capable of playing in the middle. Although maybe Lennon sees Brown's future on the right of the midfield.

Sounds good, even said we were his preferred option. I wouldn't say we have too many midfielders, I reckon Juarez will be off, which would just leave 3 central midfielders, as Brown has been playing out wide

So he's probably more of a defensive mid, thought that bit in bold was interesting. Maybe he could play CB for us, he is 6 ft 2 :icon_mrgreen:

good to have players with versatility. look at Mulgrew.

i think he would be primarily a direct replacement for Kayal or maybe offering different line up for Europe by having two defensive mids on the park.

haven't seen anything of him so cannot judge but i have seen what Lennon can do in the transfer market.

Pretty sure that the guy being tackled in the blue is Wanyama. Just cause the guy making the tackle is Mbokani, Standard Liege striker.

Wanyama on wishlist according to a 'Parkhead insider' & the 'Daily Record'

Jun 20 2011 By Alan Marshall
CELTIC have added highly-rated Kenyan kid Victor Wanyama to their list of signing targets as Neil Lennon finalises his plans for the new season.
The Parkhead boss returns from his summer holidays today and will immediately sit down with club chiefs to discuss the new players he wants in place before next month's big kick-off.
And Lennon has been alerted to the possibility of landing 19-year-old midfielder Wanyama from struggling Belgian side Germinal Beerschot.
Wanyama, whose brother McDonald Mariga plays for Inter Milan, has recently broken through into the Kenyan national side and is regarded as one of the brightest prospects playing in the Belgian league.
The youngster only has a year of his contract to run and Lennon knows a bid of around £1million would be snapped up by his cash-strapped club.
A Parkhead insider said: "Wanyama is an absolute certainty to make the grade.
"His style is very much like that of Chelsea's Michael Essien. He likes to get in a challenge, win the ball and play it forward without any fuss.
"If Celtic get him for £1m they know his sell-on value in a few years' time will be massive.
"It's a bit like the Beram Kayal situation. Celtic got for £1.2m from Maccabi Haifa last season and what is he worth now? "Lennon could get at least five times what he paid for him.
"Wanyama is in the same category and his style of play would suit the British game."

TBH i dont like us signing younger foreign players, i think we should be using our own, but its just unfortunate this is the way we have to go about our buisness these days!

I think that everyone feels we will be having Kayal here for another season(this coming), and anything after that will be a bonus, so to me, this could be good buisness, if this lad comes in as a replacement, as i would much rather have a hard tackler in there who does the dirty work, paired next to a playmaker like ledley or ki.

Saying that, i dont know anything at all about him, so purely just speaking in a hypothetical sense!! :)

Would love to see this kid come to us. Seen him play when I was visiting friends in St Truiden last season. Hopefully this is true, getting excited about this

Could be a good replacement for Ki if he was to go to Liverpool.
