Ok, I'm 40 this year & I'm glad it rained today, cos my tatties got a right good soaking...not the kind of soaking that my tatties used to get more regularly in my 20's.

Got the lot going on now, built a greenhouse & 6 raised beds - growing the * lot!

    Anyone else interested in gardening?

Planted loads of fruit bushes, which will be turned into wine/beer.

    OMFG! :31:

    I do the gardening also..
From trimming bushes to plugging young fuscias..

The problem I have is I can never remember where I've been planting seeds but I suppose it all adds to the fun..

Mixed bag.. Mostly flowers , from pansies to bird of paradise , but have some fruit and veg growing this year.. Spring onions outdoors , peppers growing indoors..

Glad someone else is on the vibe.

The missus seems to like playing with my water feature, which is nice.

As usual I'm hoping for big plums this year, I've got some hardening off to do before the last frosts though.

The house I grew up in had quite a large back garden and a nice wee plot of earth. We used to grow tatties, carrots, onions and neeps. I wish I had a similar garden because I always loved harvest time, dinner always tasted a little better when made with our own veggies...

If you have any kids make sure you get them involved, especially when it's time to harvest. If they ever end up in a house with no garden they'll have some nice memories...
