Can't remember off the top of my head what subjects i did at school but let's just say i was the guy that didn't study and tried to avoid exams. Wasn't a failure by any means but i'm sure my report cards always said something along the lines of "must try harder".

Having said that having crap school qualifications did me no harm at all.I grew up, wised up and did my best to turn it around and am happy with how things have turned out.

I went to college and uni.Got qualified in environmental conservation/habitat management at college then went on to do a psychology degree. Both totally unrelated subjects but i'm honest in the fact i had no idea what i wanted to do with myself at the time.

Too much pressure is put on young people in regards to exams these days.In my experience bits of paper don't always get you the jobs you want. I had to put myself through college and uni and none of the qualifications are relevant to what i do now so it really depends on what you want to achieve in life. You don't always need fancy qualifications to achieve your goals.

Irish system is way easier and more fair I think.
    A1 in Higher History = 100 points
    B1 in Higher Engineering = 85 points
    B2 in Higher English = 80 points
B2 in Higher Design Communication & Graphics = 80 points
B3 in Higher Construction studies = 75 points
    A2 in Lower Maths = 50 points and altogether I got 470/600.
I also got a C3 in Lower level Irish :56: but you pick your best six so I left that out was always shockingly bad at languages :56:

6 'O' Grades which was incredible considering I rarely went to school in 3rd and 4th year.
