Graham Spiers Appalled at Lenny's Retaliation

how is it retaliation when you are unexpectedly attacked?if someone is coming at you face to face,they hit you and you hit them back,thats retaliation.lenny was watching the game when this * tried to hit him.now lenny has been under police protectionfor some time now,due to threats being made on his life.he has a wife and child.he has been sent bombs and bullets.this tube went for him when he least expected it,lenny instictively defended himself-thats all."retaliation" sounds like he CHOSE to have a go at this clown.propaganda at its worst.

Well said mate, Lennon has taken his torture, not abuse, lets remember what he has gone through is * torture, yet he is expected to take it!

Spiers' reaction was at worst poorly worded, Johnstone's has dirty hun written all over it. I used to think he was just a Rangers supporting buffoon, but clearly I was wrong, it's sinister that he only mentions Lennon in that clip.

Nothing much in Spiers' comments i'd say, but DJ's reaction beggars belief - an instictive reaction, his instinct is to hammer Lennon no matter what

 

from what I can gather Speirs agreed with Lennon,he just said Lennon gave the * a bit back...nothing wrong with that,maybe Im reading it wrong or something...

 

Having read Spiers' comments, I can see nothing wrong with them to be honest.

 

Utter tosh...Spiers is one of the few journo's that refused to swallow murry spin for the last 15 years! Nowhere did he say he was appaulled at Lenny reacting.

As for the rot-hun'd one...only someone with such blue tinted milk bottles would neglect to be outraged at the attack and focus on the reaction. Does he forget that NL lives every minute of each day under the cloud of repeated death threats? Time to bombard that station with email's expressing our disgust methinks.

 

Agree, that * Johnstone should be sacked. He is a hateful * who unbelivably made out Lenny as the attacker. His true hatred came shining thru.

Have to admit i like graham spiers and always think he calls a spade a spade unlike some of them remember as has been said he didnt condemn lenny and as for anyone else who tries to justify it some fans need to get real its FOOTBALL

He at no point criticised Lenny for retaliating he simply pointed out the fact that he did as anyone would. Speirs is one (well there may only be one) of the good, honest guys. I'm so glad that fat * Derek Johnstone moved away from Clyde onto Real Radio so I don't have to listen to him. The Real Radio Football Phone In is possibly the worst football broadcast in the world, even worse than Sportscene.

 

It was the remarks about fans and managers fighting and Lenny getting wired in that upset people. Words are powerful tools and can be used to put a spin on things. It wasn't a fight it was an attack an assault. Call it whatever but it wasn't a fight. As for Lenny getting wired in! His initial response was to kick out at someone who attacked him and I hardly call that getting wired in! Besides there were cops all around at that point so how could he have got wired in? It's all about WORDS guys and as I say they're powerful tools in the wrong mouths. Put a spin on things and the Lenny bashers will jump on it.
