I want to say right away that its never over till its over, but celtic should never be in this position.Rangers are on there * knees and celtic kid the fans on year after year that there is no money.Did lennon have a kitty this year because as far as i believe he has sold more than he has spent.I am sick to the teeth of spending 600 quid a year on a season book when that billionaire * runs us into the ground.Hasnobody told lawwell and co that there penny pinching ways havent worked for years now

agreed. that guy is a billionaire. this team needs what, 2% of that, to be twice the team of the huns. time to get the cheque book out.

you can't buy bottle, heart, desire, will etc - this team has more than enough ability to win the SPL

    * the money I would question the development - why is it that year on year the youth teams constantly deliver the goods, yet the first team never bears any of the fruit? Where are all these super talented young guys who know what it means to pull on the jersey?

We go for the cheap option all the time.Huns need a striker £4M there you go!We get lucky somtimes (Kayal,Emilio) but we needed a centre half and a striker at the start of the season and with those * going for 3iar we shouldnt be taking chances

obviously not mate, just go through the team ,scrub that and go through the last three seasons worth of players and have a think about how much celtic have spent on a team, then think about why there are so many empty seats at parkhead.

trouble is that we cannot compete in the market any more - the championship can pay better wages and that's what most of these greedy * are out for. we have to get the hoopers - and dont get me wrong he's had a great season and I think he's a great player - and emilio's of this world and hope they come good. I prefer guys that are hungry and out to prove themselves than guys that think they are better than everyone else cos they cost a few quid. we need grafters like kayal - lets face it if he went to the championship b4 us then there would be no way we would be able to attract him when the EPL would be sniffing around. we need to keep our players and add a few more gems like all the guys mention above.

Your half right, kind of I think, though I underlined your last sentence. Somebody has obviously told Rangers that Penny pinching can get you somewhere, as they been and I * loath to admit this, worthy champions the past 3 years....while at the same time downsizing, much more dramatically than us. There is an intrinsic lack of belief in our players when it comes to must win games. It was seen today and it was seen at the final of the League Cup earlier this year. I would not say our team are born chokers, but something Walter Smith has instilled in the huns, the win at all cause mentality is something we distinctly lack. This has been evident in the last 3 years.

Some would say we should be embarrassed by the fact we cannot overturn a Rangers teams on their knees, I am starting, in some small way to come around to this way of thinking.

We went on to that field tonight thinking we had no right to lose, we do not deserve to hold this mentality yet and it was our downfall.

A * huns team scrapped there way to the final of the Uefa cup a couple of years ago, as much as I hate to admit it, we need to take a leaf out of their book and change our team mentality.

Another thing we have to do, as a club, is get rid of this whole, 'robbed by the SFA', 'robbed by the ref' mentality. It is fast becoming the Celtic way to blame the ref for our failings. We need to act like a club, look at OUR failings, stop blaming others and act as professional as we need to be to win when we need too.

I agree. That's over £2K (including merchandise, food, travel, etc) in 3 years just to get let down.

No they can't. Why do you think we can pick pretty much any player we want from that league, from Ledley to Commons?

I think you have to ask the question were there better CB's out there that were available that wanted to come to celtic? Also, the GD shows we have the best defence in the league. I know we all want better players here, but it's not as easy as that.
