My analysis is not negative, its based on the fact it should have been no contest in the first place all things considered, and we still dont really know what the first team will be game to game!
Do you know what the first team will be tomorrow, I sure dont?

Why should the league have been a 'no contest'? Do you not realise how arrogant that sounds? You can say Rangers are * till the cows come home but the fact is they are still on course to reach 93pts this season. Not one of Gordon Strachan's Celtic teams reached 93pts. Rangers are not as useless as you seem to think they are.

If Rangers reach 93pts and we still win the league then that is a great achievement for us and for Neil Lennon.

I have a fair idea what the team will be tomorrow, as much idea as I had when Gordon Strachan or Tony Mowbray were the manager.

Why do you not see how irrelevant some of your reasoning are?
I NEVER said Rangers were *, I said they were poor by their standards, and the fact they have so many points and also us proves we play in a third rate league!
Tony Mowbray was a disaster, I was glad that Strachan left at the end of his last season, and wanted him to go, so both of them are not for me a considersation, in evaluating this season or Lenny for that matter.
If you have a fair idea what the team will be, what is it then?

never heard so much drivel, why are people saying lenny should walk if the title isnt at paradise come the end of the season?

how would the team react to this, arguably the best team weve had in years playing the best football weve played in years and all this from a rookie manager in his first full season in charge. a manager that has done that no other in the spl can and thats out wit walter smith consistantly at ibrox. what if he walks and we end up with another joke like mowbary? remember bhoys the only reason lennon got the job is because he was cheap and thats celtics policy at the mo, theyre just lucky he's got the drive, passion and talent thats required to be a celtic manager.

You said the league should have been a 'no contest'. I am forced to conclude from that statement that you think Rangers are *. If you don't think Rangers are * then why would you think the league would be a 'no contest'? :43:

In my opinion tomorrow's team will be this(or very similar to this)...........

    Forster

    Wilson------Majstorovic------Mulgrew------Izaguirre

    Brown--------Kayal-------------Ki--------Commons

    Stokes------------Hooper

If it's not that line-up then it will be Brown and Kayal in the centre of midfield and either Maloney or Forrest will be brought in on the wing.

Shughie just out of interest that you get your wish and we lose the league and Lenny walks what after that ? Do we disband the whole team and start again every year if we don't win the league ? what's your suggestions ?

We do play in a third rate league and yes we were * in europe but that was more down to the team needing more time to gel. Rangers were a complete disgrace and an embarrassment to the game football in europe and where lucky to get as far as they did just like when they got to the final. We have totally outclassed Rangers this season and the only reason we aren't further in front already is down to the team needing time to gel.

    Lenny stays :50:

Your attempt at humour failed, whats this my wish we lose the league, do you always talk crap?
How can you refer to a team having to gel, when we still dont have a regular first team starting eleven, and what would your team be the morra?
We outclassed Rangers you say, who beat us in the league cup, and we were the ones outclassed, can you understand fitba, can you read a game, do you judge and have an opinion based on emotions only?
Another thing if we win the SPL title I say Lenny stays! Hughie Stein

    are you on medication mate?

neil lennons record over walter smith is dominant!

we have the best defense and top scorers in the league!

we needed the team to gel at the start of the season it was almost a brand new starting 11,we are at a stage now were roughly there is around 8 names down on the team stage certain to start week in week out, plus the depth of our squad allows us to rest a player or two and bring in a different personel for a certain martch

its great time to be a celt mate! in 3 weeks time you will realise this when we are champons!

Dont want him to go even if we lose the league because he has done a wonderful turn around in our team after mowbray left we have not conceded many goals and we have scored lots so that is great :D! but if he goes we will have to start from scratch again and a dont really want that to happen, Lennon is a celtic man and knows what this club is all about and how much the club means to the fans and we love lennon so why spoil that :/ even though a dont want the manky mob winning it !!

It wasn't an attempt at humour it was badly worded, in response to the rest of your questions yes of course I understand football, can read a game and don't just judge based on emotions only. A team gelling doesn't mean the same 11 starters week in and week out it means that the group 16-17 players know how each other play and are comfortable with each other, if we had the same 11 starting week in week out it would just cause injuries, tiredness and unrest because obviously the ones not starting will want to play at some point.

The league cup final yes we were outclassed and also in the first game but that's only 2 out of 7. So we've totally outplayed the huns 4 times and the last game there was pretty much half and half so again yes we're miles better than them.

    our starting eleven would be

    forster

    wilson maj mulgrew izzy

    brown kayal ledley commons

    hooper stokes

with injuries changes have to be made, and different games require different set ups.and we were hardly 'outclassed' in the league cup final.it wasn't a one sided game.we just had an off day but to say we were outclassed is pure bull.

and on the team gelling, well i dare say this team has come a long way from when we were in europe.you just seem to WANT to pick flaws in the team.and then you say if we win the league lenny should stay, suppose we lose by a point or 2?should we then start all over again from scratch?

ridiculous.if he can improve that much in a season think what we could be like next season.we are a few signings from a good strong team,it's there for everyone to see

agreed. we did badly in europe because we had so many players from all over the world who have never played together. plus we came up against a team that are in the last 4 of the EL, clearly a very good team. i think next year we shall do a lot better in europe.

also about the first point, if we dont win the league, we cant just punt the manager and half the team just to bring in some other guy and a whole new squad. we need some guy willing to build a squad that can last for 4-5 years, that someone is lennon.

    lennys future

Some people are impossible to please. Lenny has done an amazing job all things considered. Despite the SFA, one or two referees and most of the media attempting to derail him at every opportunity he has overhauled the team with some really exciting new players as well as getting the best performances from players like Wilson and Mulgrew WHO HAVE COME ON LEAPS AND BOUNDS THIS SEASON. Lenny must stay. McCoist will fail spectacularly next season and Lenny will wipe the floor with him.:celt_2:

No matter what happens with the league i hope he stays for a few years to come at least and continue the great job hes done so far. I was once who said at the begining i thought he should serve an apprentice BUT i am happy to say i was wrong and under very trying circumstances he has surpassed my expectations and i feel he will only get better with more experience so please stay lenny

Reality if we can't beat the scum of europe this season then what chance have we of doing anything, that mob are * no matter what exscuse comes out should have went with the same winning team at ipox instead of breaking up again, now all these * are lying down again.
