Abu Dhabi Group buy Celtic - Give up naming rights or European glory

time for new investment and the club must get it as modern football nowadays is all about money,sell the stadium rights and invest in lenny

 

I wouldn't see it as a fantasy, I'd see it as a nightmare. We operate within the budget necessary to ensure the club remains a success and that's important to me. I remember the times before Wee Fergus bailed us out and look at what's happening across the City. I prefer our status now as a massive worldwide recognised club on a manageable budget.

I'd love more European success but can't see that happening as long as we are part of the Scottish set-up.

I'd be more interested in us moving to a different league set-up as muted a few times previously, than getting investment (which ain't gonna happen) and us remaining in the SPL.

 

We are celtic! Wouldnt want any owners like that! It would ruin the fun of being a celtic fan. Look at man city, basically tryin to buy the title. Celtic have been doing fine without anything like that since about 1888.

 

Problem with all these foreign takeovers is when they * your left with high wages and a financially unstable.

 

I wouldnt mind selling the rights to the stadium name if it generates cash. I mean who here actually says "I'm off to Celtic Park today". We all say Parkhead. So no matter the name we'll still say Parkhead

 

I wouldn't sell my identity, traditions, heart and soul for a few bucks.
