Why the * did samaras take the penalty fs

 

I think Lenny needs to find a designated penalty taker, we should have taken advantage of that penalty and finished them. I'm still happy with the draw but we could have really crushed the huns hopes today. All focus should now be on the inverness game and nothing else.

 

Commons takes the penalty and we had that game won. Should be happy with a draw but actually gutted

 

We were terrible today,but i am happy enough with the position we are in.

 

Feel robbed..... Sammy should never of taken that, always going the same way and missing.

 

Neil Lennon was a joke today everybody n their dug can c that they r there for the taking, u play stokes hooper n commons n u go for it n believe u r better. Gave them to much respect n we played sammy n then u rub salt in the wounds by finally putting stokes on and he takes of hooper. Come on Lenny what r u thinking. Played for a draw. Embarrassing

 

Didn't imagine feeling this upset at a draw - can't imagine why we extended Samaras' contract, he's had one good game for us, and as the commentator said today, he's scored in 3 of 36 games this season.

Also can't understand for the life of me why strikers choose to put the ball in the same location for penalties. Skippy used to do it - bottom right - and McGregor realized it. Last time Sammy put the ball in almost the same place - did he not think McGregor didn't remember? Frustrating.

The one that infuriated me more was when samaras was through with a man either side of him and ballooned one over himself.

We need to get rid, and not because I think he is a bad player, because he can only play as a lone striker and I don't think celtic fans want to see 1-up-top in the majority of our games.


Gutted to see Ledley hobble off, could be a big miss for the run-in. Hope he's ok.

Anyway, good RESULT at the bigotdome and the title is in our hands. For that reason, the peronis are out!

draw is obviously better than a loss to that head o' *, but definately should have won that. Wasn't just the penalty miss - Sammy has not shown up since the 2nd January for any matches. Makes the odd decent pass here and there and that's it. Think we should cash in and sell him to be honest as he's no' consistent enough.

 

Would've took a draw before the game but to miss a penalty which would've effectively won us the title is absolutely gutting.

Just hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.

But i will take that point, they had a few chances so ill deffinetly be happy with a draw.

Happy with the draw as we weren't great, I think we played for a draw, we were a bit negative for me and Samaras was really bad his running was * all day on his heels far to often and why the * he took the penalty is beyond with Stokes and Commons on the pitch at the time.
