All the best to Paul Telfer. He was never intended to be a regular first pick and has done decent, if unspectacular, job. His work rate is excellent and allows the flair players time and space to do their thing. He deserves a round of applause.

He was an ok player, but he kept on it, never gave up, and never complained when he was out when Wilson was in position. All the best to Telf.

Yes everything I hear about the guy suggests he is a model pro and a class act behind the scenes. He has been a solid player particuarly this season for us. He can certainly look back on 2 years at Celtic Park with some pride.

lol what a fickle bunch you really are, nearly every week without fail we've coated him left right and center, his passing ability, his defending ability and yet when he's fooking off at last we get all this rubbish about what a model he was to younger players.I'm sorry but i rather the younger players learnt from naylor and wilson than him.I for one am glad he's going and not afraid to say so,i refuse to be a hyprocrite

Surprisingly I've never criticised him. Done the job at times, but to be fair he has been out of his depths in the squad though. I'd love to be able to say he'll be a loss but that's just not true. Absolutely no faulting the mans attitude though, top class guy. All the best Paul!

Pish absolute pish. The guy has never let us down. He is always there as Naka's outball. If the guy was as bad as all you tossers make out don't you think the great and the good of Man U and Benfica would have exploited him. The man is solid. When all you * were moaning when Wilson got injured I said then that he would never let the team down. What you guys have worry about is who you're going to pick on next year, because you will pick on someone, it's all you know.

Many people were criticising Telfer but to be honest he wasn't really that bad. he made some mistakes during his career in Celtic (f.e. ManU - Celtic almost own goal) his technique was far from good but there was one thing I really liked about him - he was a GREAT TRYER WITH GRAND HEART TO FIGHT and he showed it during last games. Hail Hail Paul

He was that bad. At times he was murder! But we're just saying that his attitude was second to none.

He came out every game and gave 100% for the shirt, and we should applaud that.

The huns would die for a player with that sort of attitude!

best of luck whatever you plan to do paul. you've certainly proved a lot of your critics wrong with your recent performances.

    hail hail paul

i've always given him my support. admittedly he's not the greatest player in the world but, he's always given everything on the pitch, and that deserves great credit compared to the likes of kris boyd, a player that has the talent but not the attitude.

    WGS words and choice

    "
Strachan puts Telfer in good company when he completes his assessment of him. “Good pros will get their reward towards the end of their careers,” he said. “They’re a different level of player, but you’ve got Henrik Larsson going to Manchester United and Gary McAllister having previously gone to Liverpool. You can even look at Neil Lennon who’s looked at his lifestyle, changed it, and is now captain of a team in the Champions League. Paul Telfer just loves to be a good teammate. You’ve met a real man today.”

At the end of the day the only person to moan about why PT is playing is the manager himself.........enough said IMO

Thanks for his efforts, I would say
