Apparently there is an outside chance this game might be played tommorrow?

The postponement of Inverness Caledonian Thistle's home match with Celtic, called off because of a waterlogged pitch, is likely to cause a significant fixture headache for the Scottish Premier League.
Celtic are already contending with a backlog of fixtures caused by a succession of winter postponements and are currently scheduled to play two games a week between now and the date the SPL splits on Wednesday, April 20.
Post-split fixtures are due to commence on Saturday, April 23, leaving few alternatives to the SPL's schedulers to accommodate Inverness' home game with Celtic before the league is due to split.
The only viable alternative at present, aside from the game being played 24 hours later on Sunday, April 3, is for the match to be pencilled in for either Thursday, April 14 or Friday, April 15, meaning Celtic will have to play three games in six days.
In that week, Celtic are due to travel to St Johnstone on Tuesday, April 12 in a match which will kick-off at 6pm. They are then in action in the Scottish Cup semi-finals against Aberdeen on Sunday, April 17.
Another possibility would be moving Celtic's game with Kilmarnock, which is scheduled for April 20, to a date after the split and then rescheduling the Inverness game for that date. This would be dependent on Killie securing a top six finish before the split.
If Inverness and Celtic can not agree to accommodate the outstanding game on either of those dates, a reconfiguration of the SPL calendar will be needed, which could ultimately see the first round of post-split games pushed back by several days.
The SPL are yet to announce their contingency plans for Saturday's game being postponed. It had previously been mooted that games could be held on Friday, April 22, with the first round of post-split games being moved to Monday, April 25.
The urgency for the fixture between Inverness and Celtic to be played is increased by the fact Terry Butcher's team are currently in contention for a spot in the top six, effectively ruling out the possibility of rescheduling the match for a date after the split has occurred

A deliberate ploy by Butcher and his Hun pals to cause as much disruption to our fixtures as humanely possible.

The Huns are still seething about the fixture pile up they accrued in 2008. Of course back then, the SFA made the unprecedented decision to extend the league (just as MON forecast in 2003) for their ‘people’.

We will not be so lucky.

Really shouldn't have happened, it's not like it was some freak weather that hit, rain has been forecast for days they should have been prepared, some of these pitches are just beyond a joke, artificial surfaces have to be looked for teams that repeatedly fail to keep their pitch in good nick.

Jim Traynor had a fit, and chastised MON and our former CEO, Ian McLeod for provoking "conspiracy theories" among the Celtic support.

This is the same Jim Traynor - who in 2008 - used his newspaper to actively campaign for an extension to the league.

I agree apart from the artificial surfaces, if you cant fulfil your obligations then the opposing team should be awarded three points and a 3 0 victory .
