I know what you meen mate but most ppl are hurting bad, because it was the huns. I for one am gutted however in the long run its not really a disaster and for someone to say that then think that would be wishful thinking if you no what a meen. It is well known that the diddy cup is theyrs and the scottish is ours lets hope this is true and it can be part of a double for us.:50: Good to see a positive look on it. lol

I really * hate it when Celtic fans say things like "it's a diddy Cup" etc.

It's arrogant as * to say that. Think how fans of Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, Dundee, St. Mirren etc feel......they would cut their balls off to win the League Cup. The League Cup is a trophy at the end of the day and I love to see Celtic win trophies.

The League Cup is not a "diddy cup" and I am really hurting because we didn't win it.

The fact we lost to them bothers me more than the fact we lost the Cup. As a Celtic supporter, there is nothing worse than losing to the Huns. However, they were due a decent result against us after the trouncing we gave them on Feb 20th and then putting them out the Scottish Cup on 2nd March.

    Onwards and upwards. Hail Hail.

Of course I care, I feel sick to my stomach and the pain won't go away for days. Any defeat to them hurts, even a friendly game would hurt never mind a cup final.

We didn't turn up, how often are Izzy, Kayal, Commons and Hooper all quiet?

Of course I am gutted after yesterday, but I must admit I am more worried about the league now. I thought Rangers played a good game yesterday (in other games they were absolutely rubbish and were not worthy of winning the SPL). I do not see them losing a lot of points in the remainder of the SPL.

Im pretty much over it.. The hour after the match was the worst thing for me , but I can undertsand people feeling like it's set us back..
I don't think it gives the huns an edge for the title but the manner of defeat was dissapointing.. We shouldn't have to be regrouping so soon after being humped by Motherwell..

Sorry BostonGeorge but I have to disagree, if we had turned up and really fought for that cup - and won - we'd be on a high, and still on for a treble! Rangers would have been in tatters.
But this doesn't matter anymore, we lost and played badly, nowhere near the quality we have seen recently.
Also it makes it harder when it got to the end of that game and you had to endure the cheers from their support in the student union :31: then you read it in the papers etc. and get stick from your mates.

    We better get that double.

look lads there is always got to be a loser in these types of matches! unfortunatley we lost. so we get the heads up and go for the bigger and better prizes. the league and scottish cup. that will be a great season when we win them:50:

Put it this way, the day that I am not too fussed about being beaten by them in any game is the day I'll be packing it all in.

Theres never Celtic - Rangers game that i couldn't be fussed over if we lost! Like the one last May - pointless in terms of the league but i * loved beating them. Or like when they beat us 1-0 with Ugo's overhead kick - we had all but won the title but that was sickening. Know why? Cos it makes those * happy. The people who would happily spit on us and hate everything we represent, from our religion and heritage right through to our identity as, not only a football club, but a cause! To hear them singing their vile, disgusting and downright bigoted songs as they won yesterday makes me physically sick. Add to that the fact they won a trophy then i'm fuming.
