If you found out your wife went for a drink with some guy,or if some guy asked your permission, what would your reaction be?I know what mines would be anyway.

    My thoughts exactly. :47:

Don't know if your married or have a girlfriend but do they know or are you not telling them either?

If it's only social why not make it a foursome?

She can take her husband & you can take your wife.

That way there will be no misunderstanding:50:

    Hope this helps:rolleyes:

I gauge from this you know the fella? Either way it is completely inappropriate to go for a social drink with a married woman unless it is in a group imo

No, completely not OK. Imagine you were the other guy and you found out your wife went out for a drink with some other man, worse still if it was one of your mates (dunno if this is the case or not) - you would want to rip [your] head off.

    are you Stan Collymore?

sounds like you know the chap, why would you want to go out for a drink with another mans wife? if it is a work thing then fine, if it is a really good friend thing then I can understand when pals meet up before the rest of the crew arrive or if it is to arrange a surprise party or something for the husband, but if this is a social drink then I would steer clear of it.

who instigated this? did she ask you or did you ask her?

if a chap said to me he was going out with my wife for a drink, the least I would be is suspicious.

    seems strange

It really down to what you doing with her after the drinks, since you're not gonna nail her, you should be fine

he'll be ok about it, but don't tell him, aye ok then.

sounds like he would be decidedly not ok about it, if he would be ok then there's no need for secrecy.

    sounds like trouble to me.

unless they have an open relationship? who knows?

but by the sounds of it, you may not be thinking of "nailing her" but I get the impression she may want you to attend to her Lady Garden................

surely its up to her. If you are friends with the husband then that complicates things but, if thats not the case, then you can absolve yourself of responsibility. If you dont want to "nail her" then whats your motive?
