off topic but - 11 of our 18 managers and history have been since and including brady, quite shocked at that.

    unsure between o'neill and strachan.

Although in terms of stats MON and WGS are clearly the top two i don't think Jansens contribution can be underestimated at all. If he hadn't been able to pull together a team quickly who could win the league that year then who knows if the 10 would've been stopped that year or the following; or even if MON, WGS etc would eventually end up with the success that they did. Tommy Burns is up there too when you think about it, his team was fantastic and great to watch it's just unfortunately the huns where splashing out so much at that time. Tommy burns' team up against the rangers team of the past few years would have been an easy few titles for him.

European stage edges it for MON for me, great run in 2003 and should've made it two the last 16 in the CL a few times but was very unlucky.

-Edit: Lennon has great potential to be up with MON & co.

Dr Jo's signings were pretty good. Lubo, Mjallby and Viduka:50:

Best football = Tommy Burns, Best Record has to be WGS. Martin had more resources and a huge wage budget. Still, I supported everyone of them. Tony Mob was given a hard time unfairly in my opinion.

O'neil just about edges strachan, even though WGS done just as good with less money.
MON made us a formidable force again in the spl and europe.

MON for turning the club around and taking us to Seville as well as the many Hunskelpings his team dished out second would be Wim for signing Henrik and stopping the 10

its a rizla paper between o neil and strachan i went for o neil simply because of the players martin assembled hartson sutton etc i think martin was a better man manager strachan used to annoy me with his attitude with riordan etc he never gave a straight answer to the celtic fans in saying that he did win things that s why its a close call YNWA

    Tony Mowbray ?
In my opinion he's a great guy, but he did make a mess of us and we should be very greatful of how great a job Lennon has done so far.

i voted martin ONeill for obvious reasons

Martin O' Neill, no doubt! But I think Jock is the greatest ever!

Good to see common sense has prevailed here!! I was worried that it might be Strachan, who isnt even in the top 3 for me.

    1. Martin O'Neill - got us to Seville, won 3 titles and more trophies than any other manager out with JS in the modern era. Came in at a time when Rangers were dominant and shattered them immediately. Yes, he spent money, but the rewards were there on the park. Please spare me Strachans last 16 *. That is like the Huns saying the played a semi final in the CL against Marseille.

    2. Tommy Burns - A manager that epitomised what Celtic is all about. In a different time, and perhaps 10 or so years later, he may have went on to eclipse even MON's acheivements. Didnt really have any right to compete with the Huns due to there phenomenal provident cheque book, but the fact that he did and came within a whisker of winning the league, whilst playing pretty good football gets him a nod for me.

    3. Wim Jansen - stopped the huns getting 10 in a row. According to some of Strachans fans and the criteria they impose, Wim would be the most successful manager of all time. 1 season, 1 league and 1 cup. Also responsible for signing Larsson, without doubt the greatest Celtic player in the modern game. And without whom, a lot of success may not have followed.

    1. Martin O`Neil = 2. Gordon Strachan and Wim Jansen 3. Tommy Burns (fantastic football and the unluckiest manager)

Oneil hands down but ask me in 3-4 years and i am guessing mine will have changed to lennon, i was hesitant when he was the care taker but now am a 100% behind him, i am delighted to what he is doing and i really adore the way he,s acting, ffs all these death threats etc, * all will stop the man from managing our club now thats what a call a supporter!!!

Its clear he,s a real fan of our club, boy hood supporter who would do anything for the club., we have a great man in charge and a am delighted with his signings and the teams progress a just hope lenny is here for the next 10 or 15 years because this is were he belongs imo:50:
