Mod required.

Well I feel we need to nominate 3 people for the position of Mod for the ps3 section and from there we vote for 1 person out of these 3 nominee's. However the voters should only include members of the Ps3 section since this will effect them more then anyone else. Sound like a good idea?

 

I don't think it has to be a current member, If it's an "outsider" they must be prepared to do the work on both the forum and on the ps3.

 

That's cool Paul, it was just a suggestion on a way to solve all this if someone can come up with something better then by all means please give your opinion and thought it will help a lot.

 

The whole thing went sideways when the old mods left.

You need someone who is fair and not biased too any particular posters!

Back when I was merly a browser the team had about 22 players whom played every night with out any major problems. I'd imagine it's a very tough job too keep folk happy in that way.

(I was a part of the team before I started posting) you need an older head IMO.. Then that eliminates most of the your not playing divisions ect.

 

Aye I agree to that especially with the older heads part. We do have a lot of teenagers in our section who's testosterone is pumping like no other. With an older more layed back figure they'd be able to see through the b/s and find a solution to the problems quickly and efficiently.

 

I know a lot of younger people who are more mature than people one and a half times there age.

i too would like to be considered for this post, i feel i would be up for the task as a moderator and i'm on the forum most of the day every day.

 

Yep it's unfair to tag someone because of age, religion, or * all the same.

I'm certain the mods will choose the right person based on mentality rather than age.

I agree with you too a point. Slaw would be a great choice he's been there and experienced the whole thing.

That's my opinion anyway. More than 1 is need too keep it alive though.

 

Well aside from the talk I would like to state a few reasons why I should be eligible for the position I'm always on Fifa when not in class, I've ran a successful team before during my break from the TC team. I communicate with all of our members well, including members that have left the team since I was part of the old team, with that I can analyze what's going on and focus on the key issues regarding the team and our movements forward.

wasn't a member mate. I was on another sports forum at the time.

I left when the old mods left. Didn't have the same laugh LOL

 

I would like to be considered for this, I don't think I have never not been on this part of the forum for longer than a few hours.

If I was the mod I would try and stop the ps3 section from constant *, (I myself was no angel I must say)

I would continue to make tourney's and I feel I would be fair on every single person who wanted to be involved.

Basically if I was the Mod on here my first intention would be to get all of the ps3 members together by doing a fun 'getting to know you thread' so our newcomers could interact with other members.

Should I not get this postition, DeclanCFC should be seriously considered, probably the most obvious choice imo, always fair on everyone, never causes trouble, very mature for his age and just a really, really good lad.

KingZander and YankBoy are other choices who are both absolutely cracking lads who would do this section proud.

 

id say markyboy kingzander or dec are the best people for it

 

Just to add, if I was the Mod I would indeed take on the role on starting TalkCeltic up again.

I wouldn't have trials or anything, anyone in this section who was interested would be part of the team.

The fun went about midway through the team for me, I would be determined to get the fun back to TalkCeltic.

I also think Ache (if he wanted this) should be seriously considered because he is probably one of the best lads on TalkCeltic and talks alot of sense.

I have missed out Bob simply because he is now more in the Xbox section, otherwise he also would have been my choice.

 

as ive said i dont want the role but i do have experience and Markey and Ache would also be cracking choices, along with YankBhoy as mentioned earlier

 

I'm new to this forum and I have a PS3 and Fifa 11, since I joined this forum I'm on it a lot and when you mentioned cliques and members not liking each other I feel me being so new would give everyone equal ground because I've never been a member of any of the aforementioned cliques nor do I know any members too well.
