is it just me or do you think that james forrest is not good enough to play for celtic? i have said this since i have watched him play a just don't think he has the quality to play for celtic, ano that he is a young prospect for the future but at this stage when we are trying to win the league he can't produce anything good in games. a dont want to take anything away from the guy.

    anyone else agree?

No mate the boy just looked like he is struggling with confidence.he tried to get by Hately when he 1st came on and never tried again after that.don't know if paddy was on the bench but he would have been a better option if he was

Expectations are to high. He is still young. I would use him sparingly this season.

yeah it might just be confidence and i would like him to do well but at the moment we would have better players to play , maybe if we were winning then i would bring him on but not when we are losing and need someone that could change the game tbh

For * sake. The only problem today was that he's a football player and that was not a pitch for playing football. Simples.

He's still growing/learning as a player, he's a good young player but i don't think he's good enough for the first team yet, good player to have on the bench though.

FFS! He is a terrific prospect at 19 years of age. He is showing signs of things McGeady could never provide (Goals and Assists). He has a terrific engine and is the quickest player I have seen in the hoops since Agathe. We lost today but * * don't start having a go at the brightest prospect we have because he didn't make much of an impact today. In his last start he bagged a screamer against Hearts, is that not good enough for you?!

Has been * poor since he came back from injury. He is a great prospect but we can't afford to carry passengers from now until the end of the season.

I personally would have liked to see McCourt come on instead of Forrest today.

Pitch really didn't help him today, his first touch was really bad when he came on.

He was one of about 9 players today who you can aim cristism at, he is one for the future and is an excellent prospect for Celtic.
