Can't wait feel it's the biggest derby for us in a long time a victory opens up a nice little lead not to mention a huge psychological advantage!

I would keep it tight initially 4-5-1

    --------------------------------FORSTER------------------------------------------------------WILSON----------MAJ-------------------ROGNE--------------IZZY-------------

    -----------------------------------KI-------------------------------------

    ------PADDY-------------BROWN----------------KAYAL---------COMMONS--------------

    -----------------------------------HOOPER----------------------------------
I think we should try something a little different with Paddy and Commons given free reign to support Hooper think this formation would cause the huns all sorts of problems with their defence dragged all over the place!!:shamrock:

One up top for me and that be samaras! Boogy can't play with him there.

I'd also play hooper just behind samaras in a 4411 formation. I think this would kill their cb s and open up the pitch for izzy and Wilson.

Tough one for Lenny 4-4-2 as we are the home side and nothing to fear and go all out attack or 4-5-1 match them in the middle get the wingers up to support the main striker. Personally, I don't have a clue what I'd play, I could give you 31 reasons why Hooper and Stokes should start (Hooper 13 goals Stokes 18 goals) or I could give you 90 minutes of footage showing that 4-5-1 is the way to go. I think Lenny will play the more attacking 4-4-2 and line up like this:

    26.Forster

    12.Wilson 5.Majstorovic 21.Mulgrew 3. Izaguirre

    8.Brown(c) 33.Kayal 16.Ledley 15.Commons

    10.Stokes 88.Hooper
    Subs
    24.Zaluska
    7.Ljungberg
    9.Samaras
    18.Ki
    20.McCourt
    25.Rogne
    36.Carey

This alson give him the choice to play 4-5-1 when we don't have the ball. I think with Kayal, Ledley and Brown we can hold our own in the midfield with Commons giving us the much needed width. If Rogne is fit it would be harsh to drop Mulgrew so I would keep him in preferablly I'd drop Majstorovic but Lennon won't do that.

Celtic 3-1 Rangers Kris Commons and Anthony Stokes (2) and Nikica Jelavic for Rangers

Jellyfish is a worry. I don't know if Dan can shackle him so if rogne is fit I'd love him to play beside big Dan and they both can bully him.

Would be a shame to drop Charlie but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do.

    Oh * I feel sick already! :87:

I'm really siding towards playing sammy and hooper.

As said Sammy was immense the last time, the cb's couldn't win a header against him for love nor money.

I just think it would be such a kick in the teeth for Stokes. Similar to Boyd when Rangers played better opponents he was benched. Sammy could cause a lot of havoc and link up well with Hooper.

Gives us an out ball more than Hooper/Stokes imo although aslong as we go 2 up top it woudn't bother me too much.

Come on Bhoys this is easily the biggest game they have faced so far, I know I keep saying it but they do keep getting bigger!

Honestly, with them playing mid-week and us being at home, I'd go with the exact same 4-5-1 with Commons playing off of Hooper. We dominated the game like that up until Forster was sent off (excluding the goal). I'd go with that formation, which was easily capable of scoring a few, dominate possesion, make an already tired team chase the ball, then bring on Stokesy for the last 30 min.
