It's not really is it? :56::56:

Suppose you could say Boruc did himself no justice in the last 2 seasons after being more exposed, but it's harder to do that when being more exposed. By 'doing justice' I mean maintaining those great standards.

The lad is going to be some keeper in the future would love him to stay here but looks like he could either be out our price range . or Newcastle clearly see him as a future number 1.

.He told the Chronicle: ?He?ll come back here next year and he?ll be trying to be No 1.?I really like him ? we?re keeping a close eye on him and his progress.?You are talking about a guy who got a League One medal last year with Norwich and could get a Scottish Premier League one this year, in only his second full season.?Some players play for 20 years and don?t get a medal at all. It?s an amazing opportunity for him" After 2 medals (assuming we only win the league ) in 2 seasons i can't really see the lad being happy to sit on the bench especially as he has had plenty of game time as no, 1 for both celtic and norwich

He's been good. Still needs work in areas, but I think he's got the talent and mentality to become a very good-to-great keeper. It's a shame Newcastle won't consider selling him.

I agree that Forster is a good keeper, but he is indeed a bombscare at times. Let's just say that he didn't really make a great effort to get to the ball last Sunday when it deflected off of Nikica Jelavic and started ambling towards the net. His record this season speaks for itself, as 12 cleansheets in 24 league games is fantastic. Credit needs to go to the defence aswell though, especially the pairing of Rogne and Majstorovic at centre back.

There are other guys out there that are equal or even better than Forster and still within our price range. Keiran Westwood has been looked at and I seen the news story on STV last night about Motherwell keeper Darren Randolph possibly coming to join us in the summer. Fair enough, he isn't the most high profile guy we could go for, but it doesn't matter as long as he is a quality keeper.

How did he not make an effort? He ran back and collected it. :97:

And he hasn't made as many mistakes as Artur. He was a top class keeper but very, very mistake prone.

I actually think my point was about how the team is better now, but, Artur's odd mistakes cost us a few times, so the team was sometimes arguably only as good as his form/concentration. He was never the weakest member though.

We can get Kieron Westwood. Young, good keeper, Irish and out of contract in the summer. Think that ticks all boxes:celt_2:
