Complete surprise... a good one, seems Efraín Juárez is moving out of Celtic on loan to Brescia (Italy) for the rest of the season, more coming as soon as I get it.

Efraín Juárez to play with Brescia

Efrain Juárez moves on. The mexican player leaves Celtic Glasgow to be part of Italy's Brescia.

The information was confirmed by his agent Manuel Velarde in an interview given in Formula 21 (radio station in Mexico).

"We had a special interest from Galatasaray, but Brescia, has a extracommunitary openning and the two clubs asked for information about Juárez's contract because they were interested, finally Brescia was the most interesting proposal and now we are just dotting the i's and he will be gone for the rest of the season."

Velarde asserted that the italian team would be willing to pay the 6 million pounds in case Celtic is interested in selling.

"The italians want the option to buy Juárez at the end of the loan, and they'll be willing to pay 6 million pounds."

The agent said it is only a matter of hours before the transfer becomes official as Juárez is now training with Celtic.

"He has a game tomorrow, but as the transfer window is closing it is possible that everything is ready, no verbal agreement, the only thing we are missing are some documents, this is ready and we'll have information in three hours at most, we are just waiting for these documents."

 

If anyone wanted to offer us 6 million for Juarez, which I doubt they would, we should be biting their hands off.

juarez is a good player though. i hope he impresses on loan and comes back next season to help us win our 2IAR and make a good champs league run

 

This is bollocks -we pay Juarez' wages and I (as we all should do) want to know why he has fallen off the edge of a cliff withoutall these rumours and question marks.

Spot on mate, he had a few good games that is all, don't see why people have a hardon for him we're doing perfectly fine without him.

 

i´m a bit dissapointed to be honest.. I get to watch all the games down here in Ecuador because of a fox sports deal that they did because of Juarez. Sadly I don't think they'll be showing the games next season if Juarez isn't at Celtic.

 

I thought he was going to be brilliant for us, don't know what happened with him, to me it must have been a fallout with Lennon, I hope he only goes on loan comes back and gets back in the team next season

 

Not happy about this.Thought when he came on against Hearts he was maybe getting a chance again.
