This is also my perfect lineup for harder away games. Otherwise we should play 2 strikers.

I would agree but sell brown, and play hooper and stokes up front, or play Juarez in attacking mid

    Asia Cup

S.Korea are in the semi-finals of the Asia Cup & play Japan.
If they get through, it's either Australia or Uzbekistan in the finals.
So, depending on their semi-final result, it could be either a week or 2 before he's back here at CP.

I doubt he'll be thrown straight back into matches when he returns. I reckon he'll be given a few days to re-acclimatise and get over jet lag.

    What he said.

Brown isn't as creative or as good on the ball as ki or Kayal and Kayal is better at the dirty work than brown

:50:I think a player like Juarez attacking mid is what weve been missing, with Maloney gone.

Im hoping Ki comes straight back into the squad and, on light of recent performances, in place of Scott Brown.

My midfield would be; Forrest, Ki, Kayal, Ledley. :50:

I would have Ki back in the team as soon as he is ready when he returns alongside Kayal. I think they could be a really good central pairing for us. I would keep Brown in the team though and just move him wide right.

I'd have Ki back in the side immediately but I'd go with a 5-man mid to help cover our defensive situation. Play Ki-Kayal-Ledley/Brown in the middle, Hooper front and center with Stokes/Paddy/Forrest/McGinn/Ljunberg playing as wingers/outside mid. I'd say Ki is probably the best footballer in our side right now so you can't afford to have him on the bench.

    Does the Ki Fit

I know Ki has been playing well for us this season and i am not Browns biggest fan (Although recent performances are making me eat a lot of humble pie) I wonder if there is a place in the starting 11 for our wee Korean.

My own thoughts are, although as skilfully talented Ki is I think the Scottish game requires more of a battling midfield. Kayal is a defo stater but then who plays beside him.

Perhaps its going to be horses for courses and having that stable of thoroughbreds is what is required.

Much better than having a couple of donkeys like our friends across the city..:)

For me Ki and Kayal are our 2 best midfielders. I think the 2 of them should be our regular starters in centre midfield. Really hope Lennon gives them a run of games together.

Brown and Ledley for me would primarily have to make do with a place on the bench. They would get the odd run out if either Kayal or Ki were injured or rested. Brown would also get the odd game on right side of midfield and Ledley the odd run out on the left.
