studying hard, to learn all my poems (Visiting Hour, Hotel Room 12th Floor and Brooklyn Cop) and my play (The Crucible).
finding it really hard, and just resigned to doing my best and proberly failing but getting my final exam right, anyone else doing it? and what plays and poems use studying?

AND ANY TIPS PLEASE SHARE!!!! :50:

1984, The Horses, Saving Pvt. Ryan. I don't understand why you can't have the book in with you in the exam instead of having to memorise quotes which is detrimental to the overall quality of your essay imo

Did * at H. English last year, got a C. This year, * knows what's happened, got 25/25 for a timed Crucible essay today :39: Lowest I've had for an essay this year is 19 whereas last year the highest I got was 15 (which I only got once) :43:

I'm doing The Crucible (play), The Changeling (novel), Shooting stars (poem), Glasgow Sonnets No. 1 (poem) and Havishm (poem)

same with me paddy. i cant do them in class either though :icon_mrgreen:

i did higher last year and got a B. i honestly don't have a clue how it happened. the highest i got all year for an essay was around 17/25. i got 44% in the prelim then went on to get a B so don't feel too disheartened if you don't do well in the prelim

we studied a modest proposal, the great gatsby (which i quite liked tbh) and the crucible which i can safely say was the worst book/play/whatever the * it was i have ever had the pain of reading
