To be honest, I thought he was 'OK' at best up until the goal, but it seemed to give him a boost of confidence, the way he spun for the run and shot soon after the goal was joyful.

I thought it was strange when Lenny took him off, I guess he just thought keeping the same formation was the way to go.

I thought him and Mulgrew done as well they could considering we were overrun in the middle for large parts of the first half.

Was crying out for Ledley to come on in place of a forward and thought that's what was happening when he got stripped.

I was utterly baffled when it was Kayal who came off instead.

We won though so what the * do i know?

That was more the Kayal of old- didn't think he had it in him to do it again for us but hopefully this is the turning point and he'll be back to his best for us.

Top man tonight for sure, I'm hoping he can get even better and actually get some power behind his digs though.

Great to see Kayal playing well tonight and getting his goal. Hopefully more to come from him.

Me too. I thought that change unsettled us. Especially since we didnt really need 2 strikers on when we were 2-0 up.

Anyway enough *, Kayal had a right good game. He seems to be getting that mad * intensity back now.

I'd agree with those saying it was the wrong change. He was * off with it and rightly so for me because he was getting stronger as the game went on rather than starting to flag.

He was a right cocky * tonight....

3 shots on target in 3 years. Beram, you're spoiling us.

    Still, I love ya.

I thought the same. Seemed the perfect time to bring on an extra body in midfield and match them up. Would have allowed us to get to them quicker in midfield and stop them bossing possession.

I personally think Charlie is best in defence, but we could always play a team like:

    Brown, Kayal, Ledley, Mulgrew, Samaras

The run and the timing of his tackle in the first half out fcking standing ! You have to be very brave to put in a tackle like that being the last man!
