ano * me hasny scored the last couple games, he's * now, past his prime, we should punt him :56:

thats what its like with paddy, if he doesnt score a wonder goal then there apparently something wrong with him , isnt he our top scoring midfielder?

First class goal from Paddy but he is still a bit off his game, but that doesnt bother me much about, others off form can, but he will come back, and again top notch goal Paddy McCourt!

This is what we need to get used to with Paddy.
He'll never win everyone over - because his game is so flawed
but he'll do just enough to get by. He'll always be an enigma

My opinion is your talking * :celt_2: This seems like the usual rant based on one match!
There is no way that anyone can say that over the course of the season Paddy has been "utter bals". For me Paddy has a key role for us this season and deserves the starts he's had recently.

Utter balls is a bit harsh.all paddy needs is bit of coaching from 1 of our best wingers in years-thomo- about choosing when to take a man on and when to pass.as for his goal last night I don't honestly think anyone else on the park would have finished it the way he did

Paddy has been terrible the last few games, i havn't seen any good through balls that he was doing earlier and he loses possession ALL THE TIME.

paddy has played almost all of the 10 games since shauns injury and we have conceeded 4 goals and scored 19.he has scored 6 this season from midfield and with the huns game and minis game in there thats not bad for a "luxaury player" .all wingers cant be on the ball for 90 mins of a game. what we are seeing now is a more settled team who are finally clicking and if its not broke dont try to fix it!! cant wait for sat!!hail hail

paddy has and will always be a in and out player over ninety minutes ,,i don't think anyone can be consistent over ninety minutes ,,but back here in Derry ,the fans went to see Derry play ,but more that that they went to see paddy ,,and if he didn't "do it" they left knowing that he is still a special player ,and they also would come back week in and week out ,and sure enough paddy would turn it on ,,,,he got what needed in the game to day ,just paddy does take the odd time off ,during matches ,,he is well known for that ,,but at any given time during any match ,,paddy can turn a game with some sublime skill and goals ,,and he only gets a 3rd of what l,burg on ,and he isn't even playing ,,so people give the bhoy a chance ,,a chance that would fulfill all ours dreams ,,,playing for the mighty hoops ,,slan ,,

In my opinion you touched on it when you said Mental Strengh, I think Paddy's problem lies in his head ! I watch him one week he looks up for it the next week he doesn't? On wednesday night the crowd was great the atmoshere was great all the players came out for the second half buzzing they were all animated, stretching, running in short bursts,, Paddy stood with his hands on hips and performed a few * wiggles??? I don't think he has the Mental ability to play football at the highest level week in week out

Thommo was not a winger in the normal sense of the word and he didnt generally take men on. He was played wide and wingback a lot but his game was his ability to spot THE pass or a shot or cross from deep. he was especially good at longballs. He used to be compared to a Beckham type player but on the left. He didnt really go past players much. He is a great example of a terrific football brain being more important than fancy dribbling.

When he starts, he goes missing for large parts of the game. Still great to have around as an impact sub.

We will still see him start more games as the season goes on. This is the first time for a long while hes played a run of games at any decent level. Needs a bit of down time.
