    my english team are bolton and i remember he started as a holding midfielder, but dont let that fool you into thinking he a good passer, not that hes a bad one just wit boltons long ball style back then they used him as a ball winner, think he went back to CB 2nd season at bolton and was very solid, then bolton sold him to newcastle and i wasnt happy, he was great for bolton newcastle and at first for stoke, ive not seen him in a year or so now tho so cant judge how hes declined or anything but if he is still the players he was then yes please, would also take curtis davies

    Story in the daily mail online 15 16pm today re Faye .
    The 32-year-old Senegalese defender is eager to move on a gain more playing time.

    Manager Tony Pulis sees him as a valuable squad member but is looking to bring in younger players and may sacrifice Faye and Glenn Whelan as he freshens up the side.

    Newcastle and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both expressed an interest in midfielder Whelan, while Celtic have been keen on Faye with talks over Nottingham Forest's Kelvin Wilson dragging on.

    However, the Scottish side were hopeful of a loan and Pulis would like a small fee for the versatile Faye.

    Other clubs are monitoring the situation but the best offer may come from the npower Championship where the ambitious frontrunners are looking to bolster their options over the next week.


    Dont know much about him myself bet am sure he would be useful short term..

    Would like to get this guy on loan till end of season. Think he is most likely to come as wants game time and we want a short term option, plus gets him in shop window and may turn out a player and we could buy him punt loovens

    Huth and Shawcross would be first choice for many teams. Wouldn't mind an experienced CB in if we decide to wait for Wilson. Maybe do a job like Ramon Vega

    Hi stoke fan here.Rumours this end he as been trying to sort out a visa.And for the last couple of days he as not been in training.The fans here are in the dark as to whats happening.But if he does come to you he will be a good player its just that since we have got huth he as dropped down the pecking order.I hope you don't mind me coming on here its just with abdy been linked with you i came on to see if you knew anymore than us.

    I would be delighted if we could get him before tonight.

    He played in Stoke's cup win at Wolves on Sunday so he's not completely out the picture. He played well also apprently.

    This guy is a good defender - get him signed if you can Lenny!

    It was the season before that he was our player of the season.But he his loved by our fans he will be missed if he goes thats for sure.But pulis prefers to see huth and shawcross together thats why he as not been playing alot.I would rather see him come to celtic than go to sven because neil lennon would get the best out of him.And abdy deserves to start more games than he his here as he works hard when given the chance.I hope celtic can get him and he plays well for you.
