Kenny Dalglish gave us 7 great seasons before he left and as far as him being a hun....give the guy a break, as a player I would put him in "CELTIC LEGEND" class, he did'nt do too well as a manager for us, but we should'nt forget him as a player and to compare him with the likes McAvennie and Nicholas is a disgrace. Brian McClair was also a good servant for us

I agree with Boab. The thread is about players whose careers nosedived after leaving Celtic. Dalglish is probably the ultimate example of a player whose career took off after leaving CP. He won everything in the game at Liverpool including 3 European Cups, so he doesn't really belong in this thread.

greendave and boab, read what I said. I never included KD in the category of ship jumpers. I compared him to Henke as an example of guys that never kissed the badge yet are and always will be true legends I was fortunate to see in the Hoops. I stand by what I said about the others; after Celtic everything else is a nosedive, so I'm on the right thread. Aye, maybe more money and a better chance at the CL. But if you're a Tim, nothing should compare with the chance to pull on that shirt, run out at Parkhead, see the scarves, do the Huns, or be involved in a European night. NOTHING.
