Been keeping an eye on Kitchen, who's been doing really well at Hearts. Would be a good, cheap, young replacement for Bitton possibly.

 

My first impression was that we was a bit of a thug, but he's looked decent in the little I've seen of him for Hearts. Not sure he'd improve our first XI, though, so would maybe not be worth our while.

 

He's got a lot more quality than his role allows right now. I've actually been surprised at how adept he is defensively since his move. He's a bit like Bitton in that he's a real threat from range and can pass if the side around him has good movement.

 

Rune Jarstein - GK at Hertha BSC/Norway National Team

Just watched a replay of Ingolstadt vs Hertha Berlin, this guy is the exact goal keeper we need. His distribution is better than any keeper I've ever seen. Can toss a ball half way down the pitch over top 2 opposing players to his wingers with ease, made a stunning save to deny an equalizer as well. Also starting for the Norwegian National team. Only 31 and has recently taken over the starting spot from Thomas Kraft. Would be pricey but an ideal keeper for us.

Atiba Hutchinson would be a great addition to the midfield. Solid, talented, experienced DM, with great ability on the ball. Played with Besiktas for a few years now and has a wealth of experience against top competition in Turkey as well as in Europe in the Europa League and CL qualifiers. Also has a ton of experience internationally with Canada, where he's cemented himself as arguably the great player in our history. He is 33 now, so his age is a concern, but his quality has not wavered yet and he would add tremendous quality in the DM position, an upgrade for European football for sure.

Could be an interesting prospect who probably won't get a sniff at first team footie at Chelsea, could be another steal like Dembele??
