So you are quite happy going into the Astana tie with just two fit CB's, one of them Efe ?

With the team we have right now Astana will beat us. Pretty good chance they make the CL Group Stages again like they did last year. They drew with Benfica, Galatasaray (Home and Away) and Atletico Madrid at home last year in the groups. They are a very good side

Pretty much the same squad as last year plus a Belarus international. Few guys that were out on loan have come back to Astana and the ones they had on loan went back to their clubs. The best was a guy who was on loan from Lokeren I think.

I don't think they'll beat us with the team we have. I reckon we'll beat them...

Playing against they teams, they'll have been back against the walls, 11 men back stuff n

Because of they results though, they'll probably have gained confidence and will feel that they're better than us and maybe try things that they're not normally used to against a team with our quality....

What kind of opposition are they? Defensive minded? They won by a last minute goal in there last qualifier?

    Seem defensive aye.

They have won by 1 goal margin in 8 of their 10 home wins.

Sounds exactly like Celtic when we could actually perform in the Champions League... :56:

Scored twice for Midjtylland tonight. Would be an incredible signing but I can't see it happening sadly.

BR identified Toure and Sinclair weeks ago, board has failed to get deals over the line but I'm still hopeful one or both will be signed by weekend. Management has changed but board continues to frustrate

Let's hope we can get at least one of them in for the weekend then.

    Preferably Kolo.

    Potentially :50:

Reckon we should sign Kolo and St.Juste.

Have options of Erik, Jozo, Kolo, Juste.

& If Villa want to play ball then we can deal for Sinclair at 3m too.. If not, look elsewhere.

Tbf to the board, just because we have pushed the boat out for a manager I don't want them to start paying silly money for over rated and over valued players. Like if we were to pay £6M for Sinclair and cave in to their demands I'd be raging and thinking that's a massive waste of money and that wouldn't be including wages.

I know people say sometimes why do you care so much what the club spend it isn't coming out of your pocket but at the end of the day I don't want to see the board frittering away silly money when in the current financial climate of Scottish football we need to be much more careful with what we spend our money on. £3M tops for someone like Sinclair imo.

Whereas if we were to target a genuine top quality player, like say a RVP or a Jonathan Soriano then if we were to spend £4/5/6M or something to bring them in I wouldn't bat an eyelid as I'd see it as genuine top, top class quality coming in the door in a very effective position and would see it as being worth it.

    Just my tuppence worth.

Hopefully we see some new signings and departures soon.

He's been hesitating mate because he knows Efe's presence here wouldn't see him as an automatic first pick. :50:
