    his decision to snub celtic is beyond belief.

    who in their right mind would snub the club you've supported all your life to play in a low division or a relegation battle. it just doesn't make sense.

    sure he may be getting more money, but will he earn more in the long run throughout his career.

    In the Sun today it had something about him turning us down because we offered him 1 million pound Less than Sunderland - I mean come on - we are the * champions of Scotland and in the last 16 of the champions league, i'm sure we could have matched a championship team's wages, in my eyes, its stuff like this that will continue to ruin our reputation as one of the biggest clubs in the uk!

    Yes but it is an attractive prospect playing for us too. We can now afford to pay for players and pay good wages, The opportunity to work with ROY KEANE as manager, a club that is definatley on the up and have a good opportunity of playing in the premier league next season, and signing with us gives him a few months in the championship as practice for playing against the big boys in the prem next season :84:
