Quinn's talking about giving Strachan extra money in January if we get through. Promising but i wont hold ma breath. If we do surely we would strenghting the back line as its the only place we are short of numbers, well compared to everywhere else

 

i can see your point but who would you drop if we bought someone,who needs replacing,caldwell and mcmanus are for the future in strachans mind i believe,the full backs are great,midfield is solid and up-front we have got goals.

i think with a real solid centre-back,woudl be great but would you sacrifice one of the current celtic backs future for immediete success?

I think we need cover in defence and i would like to see another quality striker. I would like to see Scott Brown come in as Lennys future replacement. Craig Gordon would be an excellent coup as well although i know it wont happen you never know. I would like to see a quality defender who could play in any position in the back 4 not sure where will find him but leave that and the striker to Strachan.

 

but remember how much money we got from petrov and we had funds availible before petrovs departure,so we aren't talkin a few pennies we are talkin a good few million

 

Scott Brown for me, he is a fantastic player imo
Celtic should go for him before Mowbray goes back to Hibs for him

 

Why sign Craig Gordon... We've got Boruc! & he would cost like 5 mil.

 

We need another full-back, one that could play in the centre aswell would be even better, not CL cup tied. Another central midfielder. Another experienced gk on the cheap so we can send Marshall out on loan to get some game time.

That would do for the mean time. If we can punt Thommo and Balde then that frees up 50k a week wages. Should be able to afford three new players then, or bump up a certain diminutive attacking midfielder's pay packet.

 

Why dont we spend some money on kids for the future like Sno. He was great through the week and we didnt pay that much for him. If we keep investing in the best kids around, then when they mature, we can only get better?

wasnt there talk of kadlec in jan? I know weve got naylor but nothing wrong with a little competition.

Tymo could be a possiblity although would cost a fair amount.

Would fancy a top quality centre half of some sort but cant fault our current ones of late.

 

cant find a fault in the team at all.... the only thing id do in january would be to bring in short term cover like what we done with dion dublin last year

ano he wasnt great but a player like that that would only be at the club for a wee while would be spot on.... i dont see the point in spending millions of pounds on players that might not even get much of a game.

 

Well certainly the team is playing well but certain areas of the team need cover and increased competition for places. I think mostly at the back where a center back and full back would be well in order.

 

You should always be looking to strengthen your team, even if you're on top.

Beat Benfica and United beat Copenhagen again means we have qualified. The board will tell Strachan then what extra transfer money he'll be getting.

I hope he doesnt go for overpriced players like Kadlec and Tymoschuk. They are good players but not worth their over inflated price tags

 

A good backup goalie that can challenge Boruc, and Scott Brown of Hibs.

he is a little * thats over rated.. we have better players in pearson and maloney
