I am a wolves fan and i'm surprised at the rave reviews lee naylor is getting at celtic.

When Naylor started out his career at wolves we all thought he would develop into a premiership left back but he has seemed to stagnate the last couple of years.

Naylor was always good going forwards but was suspect defensively. He was the whipping boy for a lot of wolves fans.

The last couple of years in his defence you could say he had to work with mark kennedy on the left and the two didn't dovetail together and naylor got the blame for it.

Naylor's main attributes are his attacking play, his long throws and his specialist free kicks.

Now you've seen him play in 10 matches what are your thoughts on him. Is he good enough for celtic and is he worth 600k?

He's been great so far, same as King Kenny II. I don't follow Wolves much, how are you coping after losing your 2 best players?

Naylor has been class and looks comfortable in the team at Celtic. I did'nt see much of him at Wolves but heard some poor reviews so i've been blown away by him since he signed here. Great cross on him and he has'nt looked out of place in the champs league

Miller is quality. Hoddle's legacy is making kenny miller into a great team player. Miller's work rate is phenomenal.
Miller has regained the lost yard of pace after his injury a few years ago and was wolves player of the season last season. Miller was surrounded by mediocre players last season and it was difficult for him as he didn't get the support he needed. He only scored 11 goals but hoddle's tactics were suspect and our strikers often played on the wing.
I knew miller would be a success anywhere he went because work rate wise he is the best i've seen. He is an intelligent player and can score goals.

We're more positive this season and even though we've lost lescott and miller it's as though last season is forgotten because we've brought in 11 players with different attributes and it's a clean slate. Everything is new but as a team we are better than last season.

I don't blame naylor or miller for leaving because as a player you want to play for the best and play champion's league and play in front of 60,000 fans and experience rangers vs celtic derbys.

Matt Murray is a fantastic keeper for wolves probably the best in the division and i could see someone like celtic coming in for him if he keeps keeping clean sheets. The guy is a monster and oozes quality.

I've been on the sunderland message board and they are very damning of him in his premiership season. They basically say he bought quantity instead of quality on the four million pounds he was given in the premiership and that it will take 2 years to get rid of the deadwood.

Saying that mccarthy is proven in the championship and has bought well for wolves and he might have learnt his lesson from the 18 point season.

He was at wolves nine years and obviously stagnated. I know he's over the moon about signing for celtic and it is like a dream for him. He isn't slow , and is good offensively.
I was chewing my fingernails when ferdinand beat him to the byline in the man utd game though. I hope he does well, and i hope all wolves players that cared about wolves do well. Naylor and miller cared a lot but you can't say no to celtic because of the massive fanbase.

He's better than camara that's for sure.

Strachan must be one * of a manager to see all this potential in naylor that supporters like me missed.

miller looks twice the player now.. really coming on leaps and bounds under wgs guidance.. could be deadly for us .. a workhorse with lightining pace..the proverbial defenders worst nightmare.. to play against. and has scored very important goals for us in the biggest games..as with scotland.

Naylor has been very solid for us this season. Strachan's system suits him very well.

Miller has gotten better with every game and, now, the goals have come too. Has looked a real world beater in the last month for Celtic and Scotland. Naylor looks top class, which surprised Celts like me who googled info on him and read bad reports from Wolves fans. He looks like he suits a good passing team like Celtic that are nearly always on the attack. Good passer (never gives it away), good at keeping the ball in tight corners, very good crosser, good at getting down line and very good at throw ins. He does not get near the free kicks because we have a couple of masters (Nakamura and Maloney). My only doubts were pace and defending but he has coped well defensively even in the champions league and his pace seems good enough. Seems like a player who has blossomed because he has gone to a team that is usually donimant and attacking. A very good attacking left back and miles better than camera. Has the young left back of ours that went to Wolves played yet?

Mulgrew has played three games for wolves. Twice at left back. He's been average so far.

Yes that will be an interesting one won't it. Definitely worth watching. I am on McCarthy's side on that one. Keane may have been right about the FAI but he was wrong to walk away from a good Ireland side which in the end was only a pk away from making the World Cup Quarter- Finals even without the man who has clearly been Ireland's best player in the last 10 years. What could we have done with by far our best player who knows? But it would certainly you have to say have given us a realistic shot at winning the Spain game and not going to pk's and a Quarter-final with South Korea with Keane was winable.
