Going to the football shouldn't be like this. These * stewards running about and chasing any body away for the crime of standing and trying to sing is just not on. You know somethings not right when that kind of * is going on- * disgraceful today, worrying times ahead if this is how Celtic are going to allow fans to be treated inside the stadium.

I'm all for getting rid of folk who break seats and intentionally 'cause trouble like that which then looks bad on everyone else but you can't start giving folk bother for scarfs, songs and * flags.

    That's not right.

    Absolutely.

You just know that a certain amount of these stewards are horrible wee hun * that were bullied and *-* at school, just desperate to attempt to exert some sort of "power".

Putting the GB aside for a moment I've seen this steward epidemic getting way out of control for a few years now, many of them feel it's a licence to treat paying and law abiding fans like *.

One thing I despise when watching these goal round up things on TV, particularly in the English Leagues is when a goal goes in in front of away fans the stewards tend to in some case even push the fans back for merely celebrating a goal, some of it looks quite confrontational, I read this caused a big row at Anfield at one game last season.

These stewards are there to help and assist the paying fans, not intimidate them and act the * and hassle folk like they did at Parkhead today.

If I had of been in that group today who were surrounded by stewards I would seriously consider not coming back and writing to the club to explain why

I said it a few days back, kill the Irish backbone of Celtic and you will kill the worldwide popularity of the club.

This is exactly what is happening.

    Let the people sing,
Don't know what to say, other than today was honestly one of the most unenjoyable football games i have ever attended.

The stewarding was strange from what I witnessed; this was not the one or two who had woken up on a bit of a power trip, 3 separate corners of the stadium, all lower, GB/111 corner, the away corner, and then the southwest corner all had stewards who were just far too up for it today. It seems ridiculous to say this, but i am certain these guys had been instructed pre-shift to be extra stringent and to clamp down on any fan action today. Stadium was soo empty aswell, very eerie feeling.

There is going to have to be a serious change to the matchday experience if they want me back next year and i have never felt like giving up my book until now. That was such a stale atmosphere today, and this coupled with * football and seeing your fellow supporters harassed the main thing going through my head was that i had paid roughly £30 just for the ticket to be there. It's not even remotely worth it. The full entertainment value of a matchday visit to the current celtic park is, and this is being generous and compromising with the fact the club need as much as they can, £15.

Lennon has had the absolute brass neck to come out to say something along the lines of 'i hope the rest of the stadium will use this as their opportunity to support the team' - how is that possible the way the fans are treated?!

As it stands only one or two things will make me want to renew next year. A significant drop in ticket prices, as the current structure is still so overpriced its almost criminal - worth noting that for each £20-30 paid per home game we've yet to see the team score more than 3 at home i believe.
Secondly would be the introduction of a safe standing section. It now remains the clubs only option for getting noise back into CP without reinstating the GB.

The fan harassment needs to end now. And the celtic fans laying into there own fellow supporter for supporting those who are being harassed need to just sort their * lives out.

Two bhoys today were ejected from the stadium. No explanation given two season tickets confiscated for literally no reason. The best part?
They were told to go "back to Ireland" by a steward!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's people like you that are ruining this club, the club have been left with no option but to ban fans and call for the police to harass them. The PLC have done no wrong, the fans have.

Dunno about that. Some may be but I think most are just doing what the board are telling them to.
