The most ironic part is that celtic had a reputation for having the best support so the "reputation" they are trying to protect is some imaginary one they thought up, which is destroying the real Celtic reputation! I would laugh at this irony if it was not so sad!

Personally think the GB are great when they stick to supporting the team. Can't be arsed with politics at the best of times and if it brings harm to the club then they shouldn't do it.

At the end of the day what's more important being part of the Celtic family and being the best support on the planet or digging up stuff which is best left alone. Everyone needs to move on IMHO.

 

If a player doesn't want to sign for us over a political banner (highly unlikely given the fact that Celtic is renowned for such political views and there have been many high profile cases in the past) then I don't want to see said player in te Hoops anyway. Works for both of us.

It's because of our fans and our political views why we receive so much respect, just look at Xavi's comments about us.

 

I agree with the sentiment but the reality would be Celtic would be bankrupted.
The organisers as well as the council would demand immediate repayment and recompense if that was the case and Celtic could not afford that kind of publicity.

So just because you don't like the political side that means they can't sing political songs? Why don't you form your own fan group if you're that bothered and you can sing 'we love you celtic we do' and all the other generic plastic chants to your hearts content.

I'd watch Celtic play in the third division, I've no interest in watching hibs play in the champions league.
