    Oli that was a very good post and I enjoyed reading it...however what you have to realise it that Celtic were complicit in creating this group and if they infer that the GB are now a group that is out of control is because it does not suit their agenda. Celtic could easily - as I think they are trying to do - disperse them throughout the stadium and dilute them. They helped create them and can lessen their influence. The fact that you have an Ultra element does not mean that they have to go with that. I think Celtic misunderstand what they are dealing with and like all other things when they dont understand they get defensive. But whether we have a Ultra element will I think come solely down to the majority of fans.

    Been given the go-ahead to quote from the FAQs page of Section122's forum:

    Also added was explanations to certain FAQs:

    They have also commented on certain songs:

    Also stated was the relations with the GB:

    They do, however, go on to state that they have contacted the GB to ask if they are willing to correspond over the songs issue.

    So... thoughts? :smiley-laughing002::50:

    Yip, that's what I took from it as well.

    If I'm not mistaken, though, don't the GB have a similar policy for their actual members due to the manufacturer :50:?

    Nevertheless, the reasons given for not wearing Celtic stuff seem very... vague. And strange.

    We do not want to wear Celtic merch because it is due to any violence or incidents at matches members might be arrested and it might not have been them that started the trouble but they were present and we do not want members linked with the club.

    :smiley-laughing002: that is all.

    :56: That is brilliant.

    Edit: Just noticed, they have a no politics policy but they are going to sing Let The People Sing. :56:

    Initial thoughts are that whoever wrote that has an extremely poor standard of education.
    Immediately after that came the thought that this fascistic dictatorial missal is definitely not something I would ever wish to be involved in.
    Third and final thought is that complete capitulation to the police as is outlined here is utterly shameful, and that this distancing of the group from the GB as if they are fkn lepers is extremely distasteful.
    So what will the form of dress be then?
    Collar and tie and shorts?
    All members get a free balloon?

    We'll just end up with one half of the stadium singing one song and the other half singing a different song.

    Sound like * idiots to me. But groups have started up round parkhead over the past 6-7 years and died early on

    Sounds pathetic. It'll be all kids that try to join, they won't get an 'official' section and they'll end up singing rebel songs is my prediction.

    Won't last a season.

    Nice to see a bit of consensus on this thread for once.

    This is certainly not the answer.

    Any "non-political" group that before it has even formed comes out and says you can't sing this or you can't do this is obvioulsy very political and working to an agenda.

    F**k 'em.

    It sounds a bit like a group of fleece jacket wearing types who want to attempt a "PG" version of the Green Brigade.

    Laughable.

    It appears that more and more people are starting to disagree;

    Sounds awful. Should have at least found somebody with the writing age of an * to post up their FAQ's. A lot of them, even if they had been written well, sound a load of * anyway.
