Nothing like a nice positive thread, but lets go anyway.

In the past 3-4 seasons we have thrown away so many points between november and febuary.

    There must be a reason??

Yeah, it's a concern, we always seem to drop points to the diddy teams in these stages.

Pretty much sums it all up I think. The team never seems to hold onto a lead either in the winter. I don't know if they * out it or they just think the game is won.

In my opinion too many foreign players who can't cope with the Scottish weather.

I don't think that's the case, a few of our best performers this season are foreign, Izaguirre and Ki.

    I don't think that's a problem at all.

Scott Brown being injured this season. We were doing fine up until this point.

Yeah they have both been fantastic, I'm not doubting there ability this season but when you spread it over the last few seasons I think we have struggled for that reason, especially with some of the players that Mowbray signed, including Fortune. Plus I think this could be party why Jaurez isn't getting a game just now, however I really hope that's not the case as I'm a big fan.

We've dropped 4 points in 2 games we have dominated due to not killing off teams and lack of concentration at the back.

I don't think there's any underlying issue or great mystery.

I don't think lenny knows his best eleven tbh, between injuries and poor performances it's been a puzzle he has yet to solve.

wonder if its anything to do with lawell telling managers which players are going in january-causing frustration and sapping morale

Well i dont think any of the bhoys that are playing will be leaving, so it wouldn't sap there morale.

Listen, up until the derby we were playing well. Look at Chelsea down south, there recent record is relegation esque! This period up until the derby is vital. We need to win all our games, then I would settle for a draw in the game on 2 January. If we are more than 5 points behind Rangers after that we are in big big trouble.

Issues such as the weather, injuries etc are the same for every SPL team, so they therefore cannot be the main reason for our mid season wobble....therefore i do think it has to be that foreign players (albeit they are some of our best performers) cannot handle the weather. Not saying we should pick an 11 on this basis alone but maybe a few more local players should get a run out....

Do people genuinely believe the temperature is the reason we have dropped 4 points in 2 home games?

It is stupid mistakes and the lack of cutting edge that has done it, we don't have to look any further than our own squad. Circumstances haven't conspired to handicap us, we have done it ourselves this time. The weather, referees, the way the wind blew were completely immaterial.

What hammer said. It is solely down to our own * ups. Any other excuse is complete nonsense.
