Would suggest the atmosphere would be significantly worse without them.

Wish they'd stop with the hare-brained politics though..

At the weekend they sat down and didn't sing once for 20 minutes to send a message to the safety team. The Inverness fans were out-singing our home support, which was really embarrassing, in my opinion.

    "What a * home support"

That's what they were singing and it wasn't far from the mark, when the GB got involved 20 minutes in, our whole stand erupted. It was brilliant.

I think we need the atmosphere they create.

For * sake another Green Brigade thread, how many has there been recently?

They do a fantastic job and are treated like criminals by stewards and police - searched every 2 mins and asked to check tickets etc. 'Bring back the thunder' was the proclaimation endorsed by the club to sell season tickets yet they are trying to stifle the atmosphere they so craved when money was involved. Supporting your team is not a crime, the Green Brigade have done nothing wrong for me yet are threatened with letters, searched and harassed constantly. I hate that fellow 'fans' write them off all the time, i'd always be willing to believe and support a Celtic fan.

The announcements over remaining seated yesterday is a sad indictment of the club's policy. 1 month ago we were subjected to 7500 bigots chanting sectarian and racist chants that were sickening whilst standing the whole game yet the club don't say a thing and instead are prepared to have a pop at their own fans? Disgraceful, same with the clubs reaction to the Poppy banner.
