I reckon Graveson was very, very impressive on his debut and (crucial mistakes apart) against Man U but has looked well off the pace for long stretches in the last two games (Rangers-2nd half especially and Copenhagen). Hopefully that is temporary as lack of pace could be a big problem at the highest level. :shamrock: :scotland: :shamrock: :scotland:

He looks a bit erratic but it could be over-trying after his mistakes at Man U. Give him time and he could do ok.

think he's playing well enough to be fair.Obviously will need a bit of time to settle in and gain match fitness.Heard him say that at Real they didn't do a whole lot of fitness training more ball work.See that Marcus Allback * is quoted today sayin Tommy was afraid to tackle him and the Copenhagen team where not impressed with him.All mouth that guy

He had no real pre-season and when he arrived at CP our players already there had played about 10 matches. Give him time to settle in Glasgow and get fully match fit and then we will see what he is capable of.

Exactly ghuys and ghirls. If Gravesen hadn't made those two mistakes against Man U we'd not be having this conversation I reckon.

I loved reading what Allback that legend himself lol and what he said. Talk about getting Gravesen motivated what an idiot. The bottom line is Gravesen needs some games under his belt to get match sharpness and he needs a bit of time like most players to settle in. I would think given his situation at Real Madrid before he came to celtic he probably didn't have the most ideal pre-season preperation so I would think once he settles in and gets his game legs on him he will be fine.

bad against man utd as stated partly cost us that night. but also seems to be getting better each game i see him now.. wether thats to do with his fitness levels , sharpness etc coming with more games etc trained most of pre - season on his own aswell.. then went to a club for training in denmark .. as real didnt want him for pre training. so hes deffo not fully fit yet either .. never played that much for real last season .. and this season he is now gonna have to play maybe treble of what he done at real so that should bring his match fitness right up to date..(30) still in his prime tho.. shows moments of real class at times for sure..... but overall in time i think he will be an excellent player for the mighty celts tbh. hes not afraid to go forward either.

    his name is Gravesen btw.

Aye. Graveson is a very good player but obviously struggling for fitness (but not strength!!) . I've seen it a few times when a player comes in and plays well on 'muscle memory' for a match or two but then falls away for a few games before bouncing back. Thought he was fantastic on his debut and, apart from his few mistakes (which admittedly did cost us dear) his general play was very good against Man U too. He will get that fitness and sharpness in the next 2-3 games and will be the daddy for the rest of the season.:scotland: :shamrock: :scotland: :shamrock:

Can forgive his mistakes purely because the guy just looks so excited to be playing for celtic. Will become a great player for us, no doubt about it.

yep, i've seen him make a mistake or two in some matches but i think with a bit more work and a bit more support from fans and other players, he could do very well for Celtic. That's my opinion anyway.

Everybody makes mistakes. Lennon was caught in posession against Copenhagen, Nakamura lost the ball a couple of times, as did McGeady.

After his mistakes in the Man U game, people maybe feel a bit unsure of him. He came in with huge hype and played well against Aberdeen then screwed up badly in the next game. I think that now when he loses the ball it reminds people of the Man U game and the how costly his mistakes were in that game.

I personally thought he had a very good game on Tuesday. And I think people are spot on about his match fitness and adjusting to the Scottish game. He`ll come good for us, of that I have no doubt.

Thought Tommy played quite well against Copenhagen, not much worse against Rangers. He needs to settle and he will be our main star this season!:50:
