a crowded pub was besieged by snarling thugs yesterday.
as violence flared following the old firm match.


horrified staff had to barricade celtic fans inside the pub as around 60 hooligans pelted it with bricks, bottles, and pieces of concrete.

the gang is thought to have been made up of rangers supporters and english soccer casuals who travelled north for the game.

the terrifying incident happend at McChuill"s bar in glasgow city -centre. an hour after the old firm meeting wich celtic won 2-0.

and eyewitness saide " most of the neds were smartly dressed english guys with mobile phones £500 stone island jackets and expensive trainers".

one drinker said " i thought i was going to die.they had surrounded the entire pub and were intent on getting in and pulling the place apart.
"the bouncers had to lock every door in the place bottles and bricks were fliying in. it was very scary ".

english and rangers hooligans were also blamed for another fightening attack on the Spirit Music Bar. in London Road,.

last night pub manager simon mclean said "they were chelsea , millwall and rangers fans and were shouting all sorts of abuse at us.

"the guys here managed to barrackade the door to stop the neds getting in ".
"the rangers fans were pushed into the street where fighting then broke out".
"several of the english and rangers fans got a right doing from the celtic fans"
we managed to phone the police and they nabbed a few of them but a few got away aswell.

Police also swooped on the edge bar. in cockrane street . glasgow.
a strathclye spokeswoman saide " police have been called to several pubs in the last few hours "

there where also outbreaks of fighting in.. the partick , dennistoun and ibrox parts of the city.

at the match 10 people were arrested for bieng drunk and disorderly , and for hurling secterian abuse.

rangers+chelsea+millwall !!! the worst fans on earth. i´m very disgusted by this behaviour of these so called "supporters"!

 

Why the * are these fuckwits from Millwall still allowed to travel anywhere outside their town. They've been scum for years. Should get a wall built around that dump.

 

after the game we went through bridgeton cross in a car and the police survailance van was outside across from the 7 ways pit with scores of cave dwellers outside waitng for victims hope they all got nicked but i bet they where followed into city centre where the aforementioned took place, why is it always when we win ,theres always mayhem and why is there always a police presence yet their never able to prevent it happening

That area was crazy yesterday. My mate works in the Celtic shop near McChulls and they had to pull down the shutters early cause huns were trying to get in throwing bricks and all sorts. Must have been scary.

after the game yesterday our bus was directed through brigeton by the police(fkn crazy) the bus was pelted with bricks and it was boys aged about 15 they were very lucky the driver wouldnt stop as our windows were smashed HOOLIGAN INBRED SCUMMY *
