Coming home from a night out one night, many years ago. 8 against 2, terrified I was. We were at Bellshill train station waiting for last train home. We were approached and threatened that if we didn't hand over wallets, phones and so on, we would get hammered.....shaking like a * dog, I was. But, we stood our ground and knocked the * out of the 2 of them!:56::56::56:

Don't see the connection myself, it had no more to do with the Boston terror attacks than it did the 30th anniversary of the programme Cheers which was set in Boston :56:

It was people from the future trying to reach out to him. They were from another dimension.

I'm a sophisticated * robot, sent back in time to change the future for one lucky lady.

A goon pulled a shooter on me at the door of a Budapest bar back in the 90s, I refused to pay the scam prices they produced when getting the bill, long story but in the end the guy that was with me was marched to a cashpoint whilst I was practically taken hostage until he came back to settle the bill.

Was a common thing in Budapest back then and wasn't as well travelled and sort of never saw what was happening until too late, the only positive I can take is this stuff teaches you a stiff lesson for the future.

Getting kicked to * on a Kiev metro platform by a gang of robbers who as it happened didn't even know I was foreign was pretty * also, took a right doing, had an expensive leather jacket ripped and spent over 2 hours in a Ukrainian police cell trying to convince them I was the victim and not the robber was just as bad.

No being funny but that's probably the last situation that I would want to be told to "cool it" I'd be more than happy to stand aside and let the punches begin rather than trying to play it down.

    What a dirty *

Bus driver taking a wrong turning 45mins before an Old Firm game, just as those * were spewing out the pubs. Couple of them deliberately stood in front of the bus to stop it as the rest of the subhuman horde pelted the bus wi bottles.
One of the few times I've been thankful for the quick response of the Polis :smiley-laughing002:

Reading back over the thread, the Boston post is easily the most * up thing I have ever read. I don't believe that can be a coincidence.

Anyone newer members have any stories?

Don't even think I've contributed any to this thread and I started it but nothing that scary has ever really happened to me.

About two years ago I walked home from town at 4 in the morning by myself through the Phoenix Park while it was pitch dark out, which took about 2 and a half hours, I was too * to be scared though and it was only the next day when I really thought about how dangerous it was.

Another one that didn't quite scare me at the time but I was actually lucky to be alive was when my da was driving me to a match a few years ago and we were on the M50 and just coming up to an exit, but the brakes of his car failed while he was driving. We were going relatively slow as we were just heading for the exit so we were able to pull over but he reckoned if we were going any faster we were goners. I was too stressed about being late for the match to care :smiley-laughing002:

Went a night out a few years back, suddenly felt * awful so i left the bar & started to head home, next thing i was waking up in a house id never seen before.

Literally lay there too scared to breath cause i didnt know what was happening & couldnt remember a thing.

Long story short, turns out i had been spiked & an old couple were out walking their dog & seen the nick of me and there was 3 guys following me so they took me to theirs. Scariest time in my life by far. Took me to the hospital & called my dad to come get me and wouldnt leave me alone till he showed up.

Still send the couple an xmas pressie every year & this was 5 years ago. Possibly saved my life that night.

Similar thing happened to me in South Beach Miami.

Was there for a week with a few boys I had met while working in the States. Went to the first pub on a pub crawl before heading off to a club. I only made it tot he first pub and don't remember leaving it. had 2/3 drinks in there and remember feeling fuked so sat down next thing I know its about 6 in the morning I'm walking down a random street with no t-shirt on 1 trainer no passport or money but strangely enough I had my phone.

I was really disoriented and had no idea where I was. Asked a random woman for directions to the hostel but my speech was so slurred she had no idea what I was on about she called the police and a ambulance for me. That moment when I came round was so scary. I was about 22 then and had no idea how I was going to get home and phoned my granny in a panic because I couldn't get a hold of my mum which sent her into a panic as well
