Alexei Eremenko

I have been reading on some sites that we are interested in Killie's Alexei Eremenko. Anybody know something about this???

 

I hope it's a lot of *. A few good games for Kilmarnock doesn't qualify you to be a Celtic player.

Do you know anything of the player at all, other than he has played for Kilmarnock? Have you actually ever seen him play either on television or at a live game? I have seen both many times, so feel I can give a fair judgement rather than jumping on a bandwagon.....

Or are you just making this comment as he is on loan at Kilmarnock? There is a reason why he went to Kilmarnock, and it is not just a footballing reason! His father is very close to Mixu Paatalainen and Alexei has had quite a few problems in the last few years, but has played in both Italy and in Russia.

He is not as bad a player as you make out and certainly far from a bad player. You are only as good as the players you play with.

In my opinion, I think his younger brother Roman is a bit more talented and he plays with Dynamo Kiev.

how do half of you know for a fact he is * ? just because you watch sportscene when you can be arsed does not make you a barron on judgement ffs ,from what i have seen of him i think he is a good player why not snap him up ? just becasue he plays for killie ????

 

Well said, some people judge a player having never seen him play, but judge him by the team he plays for!

He is only on loan to Kilmarnock and he could have went to other teams, but he chose Kilmarnock for footballing and personal reasons.

He is not as bad as people make out here, which is why I find it funny how some people are commenting, when a) they have never seen him play or b) they have seen highlights

 

I'll take any bet you want that IF, and that's a BIG IF, this guy ends up at Celtic he won't be able to hold down a place in the first team.

He's no good enough and watching/listening to matches he plays in and listening to what the pundits/ex-players say about him is enough to help me reach that conclusion.

 

Yeah well we'll just see if:

A - He ends up at Celtic
and
B - If he can hold down a first team place at Celtic(in the unlikely event he ever makes it here)

Personally I don't think either of these things will ever happen.

Also, I never said he was a bad player I just don't think he's of sufficient quality to be in our team. Therefore I see no point in signing him.

 

He's meh. Before anyone accuses me of not having watched him just cos i have an opinion that he isnt good enough, i have seen him in the flesh once, watched him 3 times for a full 90 mins and seen highlights from every SPL game he has played in. He is no better than Murphy or Samaras, nevermind our good strikers.
