I think these guys know exactly what they are doing. I don't think they are trying to make a valid political point. Just trying to incite hatred and violence.

However, they are a small but annoying vocal minority.

though having signs as 'behead anyone who isnt islamic' isnt the best of PR relations. Most moderate muslims i know think the extremists are dickheads and dont represent them. Problem is the media sensationalise the problem to give islamic extremism way too much media coverage, everyone then generalizes. sadly.

for the edl and all these other facist muppets, it is easier for them to hate rather than understand or sit down with dialogue. That wont happen because capatalist govts need racism.
