Same here, he's without a doubt the biggest shitebag I've ever seen in the Hoops, as well as being the most infuriating player.

He scored tonight, so he must not have forgot the way to goal after all

 

Pity he cant seem to do that for Celtic,hes a lost cause now though,feel bad but oh well.

 

Hopefully some club will watch him scoring and make a stupid offer for him, just like we did !!!.

 

I watched most of the game and the first half he was poor.
To his credit he came out and in the second half he was proabably MOTM, with the goal and assit.
As you can tell from my name I am a massive Greek and Samaras fan. I've followed him at Celtic and I can see your frustration, he has talent but is just so * inconsistent. From a Greek NT point of view he is up and down but he seems to be slightly more consistent.
Like today at times(second half), he seemed like a star, seemingly dribbling players at will and creating chances.
But of course there was the times when he wouldnt make the simple past after going around one or two defenders.

Anyway guys I just thought I'd give my view on Sammy hopefully it gave you guys some sort of indication of where he is at from a national team point of view(but it seems like you guys pretty much know everything).

I enjoy reading the forum and have to admit, I don't follow the SPL but the Hoops have grown on me

ive noticed that when sammy is doing well, some of his haters disappear, and when he does * all those that sing his praises disappear. where has everyone that likes him gone?

 

HA ha not too many times doing well so the haters will have been on loads of times

 

This is what annoys me about the guy:

Heads a goal (can't remember the last time he scored a header for us)

Dribbled into a dangerous area then released a pass at the precise time his team-mate was floating into the box.

Why doesn't he do this for us? Does anyone else think one of his problems may be that at Celtic he may have an inflated idea of his own self-worth because he's a Greek international and his country's main striker? Or is it the opposite due to fan abuse etc. and he hasn't got the confidence or will to perform like that for us?

 

I just don't think he is suited to our style of football. Far too languid on the ball.

Not tough enough, not consistent enough.

On a cold Novermber night at Tynecastle he is always gonna disappear

 

who would want to play for a club where you get MOTM and you get booyed by your own fans......

 

I'm sure his £15,000 a week softens the blow

 

He needs punted but some people are being harsh. He scored quite a few goals, does not moan when he is dropped, and tries to play football (albeit at the expense of the team). As a person, he speaks well. If he moves on, he will go with my best wishes.
