McGeady should be dropped

Yes, best player LAST year. McGeady is on form THIS year. Which matters most right now? Nakamura is in average form, and not playing aswell as McGeady in the SPL.

 

naka and maloney contribute to a free flowing game. with them in the team we'll play a lot more one touch stuff. mcgeady just tries to beat everyone and slows the play down. we really have to raise the tempo in the next few weeks. need shaun back in the team.

 

McGeady tracks back better than Naka though, the wing men are suppose to protect the full backs in GS's system. Naka does minimal in this regard

 

Never been a huge fan of McGeady, he's a selfish player more than a team player. If he's to avoid being dropped he has to up his game and be far more consistent.
He rarely goes for the easy/simple option, and time and again goes down blind alleys and eventually looses the ball.
He's young, but I just don't see him maturing into a better player, his attitude is terrible, my opinion is that McGeady thinks he's already made it and doesn't have to put in the hard work to change his game.
It's a small point as well, but have you ever seen greetin' face smile once? The boy comes across in interviews as if he despises being a football player, even after winning man of the match awards you feel his head would crack open if he smiled or seemed to be enjoying himself.
Not convinced that he will ultimately fullfill his potential, more his attitude than ability that holds him back, I hope he proves me wrong, but unless he finds a new attitude and level of play I think this could be his last season at CP.

mc geady's a fantastic player and as for boruc man he's amazing some of the best saves i've ever seen, especially for Poland in the world cup!

 

neveer mind mcgeady hes young and got stagefright imo. as for nakamura, im just about fed up with him, thinks he can be a passenger in a game where we need everyone at 100% n then thinks his work is done with 1 free kick. this man does NOT give his all for the team and he was a liability the other night. he deserves to be dropped also because hes no kicked a ball all season. mcgeady and maloney on the wings for me, naka doesnt deserve his place at the mo.

 

McGeady was told to get his * together last season. He then learned himself alot about tracking back and helping out. What does Naka do?
